Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!

3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

In spite of it being (wildly misinformed, anthropocentric) common knowledge that elf could move their ears independently as any animal could they very much could not. However, the tips of Morwen's ears stained red with a heady rush of the impossible: being caught off guard. It was the sound of a familiar voice, and the last voice she expected.

"Nadia?" Morwen whipped around, not even bothering with titles. She technically didn't even work for her.

Almost immediately her eyes drop to the pinned sleeve and empty space at the other woman's side. She heard but the details were scare. The Mark? Most likely culprit; Morwen hadn't resurfaced since Corypheus was defeated but she was aware of the issue of the Mark through usual channels. The last two years had been busy for everyone.

"When?" She asked, straight to the point - or the throat.

Ah, Morwen. Always directly to the point. She's refreshingly straightforward - almost, sometimes, reminds Nadia of Cullen, in the way that she simply doesn't want to listen to other people bullshit.

"Just before I arrived here, several months ago," she says with a half-shrug. "I disbanded the Inquisition, by the way. At least, officially."

There was an unspoken understanding between them; there was no pageantry in war. Not once you were in the thick of things. Both women were of a mind there was one face you wore for the generals and another for the people in trenches. Morwen willingly spent a lot of time in the trenches.

"Several-" Her eyes went bright with interest and she tapped a slender forefinger to her chin doing the mental math. Every bit the cat seeing the canary's cage door wide open.

"You weren't really paying me anyway," She shrugged, "But I would like a look at your arm....in private."

The last part was spoken through her teeth. Morwen could put on a show of civility when Nadia required it but staring down so many strange faces she wasn't exactly obtuse with her dislike of large crowds.

"Or lack of arm," Nadia says with a faint smile. "It's been seen to, I assure you. There's nothing magical or deadly about my stump. It's healed well."

"Heal it?" Morwen pulled a look reserved for bad noise or stepping in something, "We would be in poor...hand if you left it untreated for several months."

And then she just looked disappointed. "Nothing left? A shame."

"Yes, well, considering the Anchor would've killed me otherwise, I'm not that disappointed at its removal," Nadia says with a slight huff of a laugh.

Morwen only tilted her head as if completely flummoxed at the idea the threat of dying should impede the spirit of discovery. Of course she was glad her only friend was alive and no worse for wear - if one knew where to look.

"I see the logic behind that," Was all she said. "You mentioned others?"

To be fair, after everything Solas told her, there wasn't really much else to learn, anyway.

"Several," Nadia says. "Cullen, Dorian, the Iron Bull."

fuck what the egg said

"Strictly speaking three is several." The side of Morwen's mouth twitched in an almost smile.

"How..." She hesitated like someone trying to speak a language they had limited practice in, "Are they?"

"Only strictly speaking," Nadia says, raising an eyebrow. "They're well. This place isn't as terrible as it could be."

"There's something to be said about floating cities and hubris." Morwen says as she eyed the townsfolk as if they were going to attack her or try to chat her up again. With no telling from her expression which of the two prospects disquieted her the most.

She looks back at her, and this cannot be stressed enough, only friend. What mutual tolerance does to a person.

"I am as ever at your disposable."

"I can't say I have much for you to do here," Nadia admits. "But if you want to help around my shop, another pair of trusted eyes and ears wouldn't go amiss. I'm collecting books and items of a magical nature, to try and work out how this place operates, and how we might get home."
