Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!

3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Seeing her always struck his heart. Perhaps it was unwise, to have such a weakness, but Thor had a fondness for Midgard that rested solely on the shoulders of Jane Foster. He would do anything to protect her. He would do anything to make her happy. Seeing her now brought a smile to his lips and a light to his eyes that hadn't been there since he first arrived on this damned island.

"Jane," he said, his lips turning up in a broad smile. It only took two steps to close the distance between them, two heartbeats to lift her up into his arms. The job could wait.

She's very used to not touching the ground around Thor, both literally and metaphorically. Jane smiled up at him, her hands running over his shoulders and chest, before she tunneled her hands in his hair to pull his face closer for a kiss.

"Hi."

"When did you arrive? How did you get here?" Thor had come on the boats and it had felt, for all the world, like Valhalla. He had thought that surely he must have died and yet, he lived. He lived because of her and the light she brought to his life. Without her, he was a warrior without aim.

"The boats? I didn't see you when I came in."

"I came on the boats months ago. Four months now. I've been working and I never thought to come to the docks this month, I'm sorry." Jane sighed.

"I work in the library. And I used my spare bedroom in my house to build my lab again, since they have no place for that."

"I came on the boats just a few days ago," Thor confirmed. He hadn't seen anyone he recognized and had simply decided to do as he was bidden and try to adapt. It hadn't gone as well as he'd hoped it would.

"Now that you are here, though, I have something to look forward to."

Jane blushed and giggled a bit. She had a slight idea of what he would be looking forward to.

"Where did they put you? Housing I mean. Everyone who arrives here gets a house. It's a bit odd, to have neighborhoods of empty houses."

"I have been placed in a house on Imber, near the shores of the lake. It is lovely, though not what I would prefer. I have heard there are mountains, though, so I may seek out a home there instead."

Mountains, at least, would put him closer to the sky. Perhaps it would only be an illusion but any sense that he was not earthbound would be helpful at the moment. Perspective was everything.

"Oh, that is a pretty island. I live on Mulciber, which is more desert. Reminds me of New Mexico. And yes, there's an island with mountains, it's called Mundus."

She wasn't sure if she should offer her place, not when he wanted mountains.

"The island float in the sky so in a way, it's like Asgard. Slightly, if you squint." She smiled up at Thor.

"If it were like Asgard, we would be in my father's palace and you would be dressed much, much differently," Thor said, giving her a warm and inviting smile. It had been a while since he'd seen Jane and he missed her. No matter where their travels took them, she was always in his heart.

"How do they float, then? I do not sense my father's presence nor any other of my kin."

"That I would." She didn't tell him there was a few dresses in the Asgardian style hanging in her closet.

"I would say it's a different source of the energy needed to keep the islands afloat. I was excited for a bit when I saw the rainbow bridges."

"It doesn't seem like Heimdall's work," Thor said. Heimdall was capable of such, and much more as the guardian of the gateway, but this place seemed to be outside of his reach.

"I seem to have some of my strength, though," he admitted. "I can still call lightning and wield mjolnir."

"I was disappointed when it wasn't Heimdall who did them. But it's just a possible answer that was disproved."

She hummed, looking him over. "And fly?" She was glad he had some of his strength at least, and Mjolnir.

"Oh, yes, I can fly. I just seem to be restricted so far as height is concerned," Thor explained. "I have all of my powers, they just seem to be muted in some way and I have yet to figure out how or why."

"I noticed that with some of the others who came here with magic. They have limitations. My wormhole machine came here with me. It doesn't work of course. Something about the energy requirements getting blocked somehow. But hopefully soon I can get it up and running." Jane caught her breath and smiled at him. Oh she was glad Thor was here, even muted. He was still better at protection than she was.

"I'll have to introduce you to some of my friends. Oh and Steve Rogers is here. I don't know of anyone else from our universe is here, but then again, I've been busy with the library and my projects."

"Rogers is a good man," Thor said, approving of that. At least if he was here, he could be certain that Jane had been safe in his absence and would continue to be safe should he disappear.

"I have missed you, Jane. Is there somewhere we might go to be alone together? Please?"

Well you might have a different opinion once you learn how Jane figured out Steve was here. Involves a broken bed and a shirtless Rogers, who probably wasn't wearing pants either.

But Jane's distracted by that question, and she turns pink before nodding. "I have a house on Mulciber. The desert island. And I think the neighbors are at work."
