Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!

3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"It's against our laws to out ourselves to the humans. We, our ancestors, done fucked up eons ago. We gotta live sort of apart from them. My tribe? We give less of a shit. But we still gotta follow the rules," Lilly admits with a shrug.

"I'll figure out whose who eventually. If there's an Elder, I gotta at least say hi. People get prissy if you violate their turf. It's annoying but understandable.... As long as they don't do what Stacia says they do I'm.... I guess the human phrase is frosty?"

She tilts her head slightly. Frosty is totally not the word she means to use but it sort of works.

"Cool?" Gabriel guesses after a moment. "Somebody somewhere is probably an alpha, so you should probably mention you're here, yeah. Although I think they all get you aren't here on purpose since they weren't planning their stays here either."

[bonegnawer]

"I guess? It depends on rank. And if they're worried about 'slumming it'. My tribe isn't thought well of." She considers that and nods sharply.

"Got it. Plus I tend to act more 'cool' than most Ahroun. Not gonna toss around the others unless they cross the line. Or uh, insult my tribe."

[lotsoflaughs]

"The ones here that I know of, don't really do the 'tribe' thing. Packs, yes, tribes, not so much. Of course, it's not like I know all of them and I mostly just know a few by sight, since they go to the same bar I do," Gabriel says with a shrug.

"Back home, it's mainly humans fighting the things that go bump in the night. While there's some hunters that do it because it runs in the family, most do it because a vampire drank or turned a family member, or a demon happened to someone, and so on." A quick sketch of his world. At least some humans are aware.

"Then how do they learn Gifts? How do they learn their history?" Lilly just looks baffled by this. She had been brought into a very rich culture and had been more or less spoon fed so much information.

Not that she minded but she had also been really damn lucky.

"I know some humans know about the supernatural. The Catholic Pope guy? He helped us try to squash a very bad threat to the world. We had to protect him while he was activating some stuff that was going to let us find the crazy .... being that was wrecking shit." That was the mildest way she could put it.

Lilly tilts her head a few times. "Is it rude if I ask if you're an angel? You feel like the one who helped us. He was really nice. I was just a cub but he treated me pretty well."

She's actually really young but being born a wolf sort of messes with one's perception of age.

"Different worlds do things different ways. The werewolves of my world go into a form that's still mostly human looking with wolf characteristics. The ones running around here go full wolf," he tells her. "The vampires from my world and the ones I've met here are also different in how they look when doing their thing."

Then Gabriel nods in affirmation. "I'm an archangel. There's a few other angels from home here."

[bonegnawer]

"We have a few different forms," Lilly says with a shrug not giving up too much. "I prefer being wolf-shaped. I was born that way after all. Human stuff still confuses me, even with my pack mates back home. They're very human."

Except for Bares His Fangs but that's a little different.

"Then you're not the ones who helped us. Still. It means I'll try listening.... So yeah. I'll try to not frenzy. And no starting fights with the vampires. It wouldn't end well for me probably."

[lotsoflaughs]

"Given at least a couple of them are a thousand years old and they've had plenty of time to build up experience in defending themselves, no, probably not," Gabriel agrees.

[bonegnawer]

That gets her to bare her teeth in annoyance. "I don't know if I have all my weapons. I can't figure out how the device works... and I heard someone say we have a house?"

Yeah that is weird to her. "But I need to find out if I need to make new weapons. I can but I'd rather not unless I gotta. I freely admit I can get lazy. I like the weapons I made already."

[lotsoflaughs]

"Your address would be on your phone, yep. Along with some money to tide you over for the first month until you can find a way to make it. There'll also be a few things of yours at the house, so they may be there." Ignoring her annoyance, yep.

[bonegnawer]

"All I'm getting from this is that I could buy my own ice cream. One of my favorite things."

Ice cream. Bring it. "I always loved that stuff."

"Try to remember to spend some of it on things you actually need like food more substantial than ice cream," Gabriel says dryly.

[bonegnawer]

"You ....aren't familiar with my Tribe. I can find food anywhere. Even make shit that isn't food into food." She grins slightly because unfortunately Lilly has seen members of her Tribe eat some weird shit.

"But meat would probably be smart. I don't have Ace's kinfolk to make puppy eyes at."

Lilly is going to probably bitch about money late in the month. She really doesn't get how it works. Numbers confuse her.

[lotsoflaughs]

"Lots of different people from lots of different universes, some of which don't even have a version of Earth. You're gonna be running into plenty of people unfamiliar with how you do do things." May as well get that out of the way.

[bonegnawer]

"Suddenly I don't feel so weird. Not reading English or any other human language will look normal to these people." That gets a rather entertained look from the young werewolf.

"Sweet. I won't look uneducated. That'll be helpful."

[lotsoflaughs]

"There's some here who either don't know how to read or are from places where generally just the nobility can afford that sort of education, so you won't stand out too much against them, yes," Gabriel agrees.

[bonegnawer]

That gets a nod. Nomadic people might not know written languages. "Makes sense. I know rich humans can afford the collage thing. So noble types gotta be the sorts to know book stuff in other places. Chain of command stuff."

She likes to ignore it as much as she can. Or just encourage people to let her do the thing. "Thanks. You probably saved me getting grounded by the powers that say Nope."

[lotsoflaughs]

"Probably. The place smacked me down after a day of trying to go home, I blew up something that seemed important," Gabriel says with a shrug. "Archangels don't like going from being able to go wherever they please to stuck in an over-sized snowglobe."

[bonegnawer]

"If my Elders saw my reaction yesterday I'd get smacked down anyways." She actually blushes and kicks her feet.

"I reacted like an angry cub. I don't like restrictions. I also hate not hearing my pack."

[lotsoflaughs]

"It's probably just as well I didn't see you either, since I likely would have slapped you down if you were taking it out on people. Wound up doing so with one person I found who decided it appropriate to attack some random poor bastard on his arrival," Gabriel says, running a hand through his hair.

[bonegnawer]

Lilly shrugs one shoulder. "I would have deserved it too. It's how my people operate if one of us is acting out. We're warriors. Sometimes we need reminders to not be shits."

She considers how she reacted and frowns just a bit. "I guess I was a shit. I thought they were trying to trick me at first. They weren't."

Maybe Rite of Contrition in some kinda modified form is necessary? Would they even understand why she would perform that?

Urgh. Humans. And other.

[lotsoflaughs]

"People generally don't enjoy being slapped down by archangels. We tend to be annoyed when things get to the point where we have to step in. I usually prefer to let people handle themselves, since I'm not the place's babysitter." He's willing to enforce good behavior in Jo's bar if required and a couple of other places, but for the most part, he'd rather not. He's supposed to be the fun archangel, not the one dealing with discipline, dammit.

Pay no attention to his meting out his own brand of justice.

[bonegnawer]

"I.... saw something like that happen. Sure, I wasn't physically there but I was watching through a Candle of Souls. Which lemme tell ya.... That wasn't fun. Impressive to watch, just not fun." Lilly just gives him a smile. It isn't tired or stressed in the least. She is used to life throwing curve balls at her.

Ever since her first change life has been weird. "No. I can't even sense Wyrm taint.... But. Um. I'm going to have to see if the Umbra is here. Or something else.... I'm not feeling bad but I need some kind of connection to Mom. I can sense Luna's affect on me here but Mom is different. It won't be bad if I can't... just annoying. I'll need to like, meditate or some shit. And I'm not a thinky wolf. I'm a claw or bite things wolf."

Or shoot. She loves guns. Guns are fun.

He should never meet her Mentor. They would have too much fun.

"Given the power levels involved, an archangel-administered smack-down can sometimes be impressive," Gabriel agrees. "Depends on how much overkill we're going for."

That's probably enough of that subject. "Unless she shows up, you're out of luck on that front. Granted, I've got several people from home, and there's various other groups of people who have their own worlds in common, so it's not out of the realm of possibility that someone from your own home will show up."

[bonegnawer]

"There's no such thing as over kill," says the young fuzzy death machine. She disagrees wholly with that statement.

"..... Well. I take that back. Most Get of Fenris Elders are over kill," Lilly says after a moments thought while wincing.

"Um. I... don't mean biologically speaking. I mean. Um. The spiritual and meta-whatsit. Gaia. She created us. We need a connection to her places. Keeps us balanced. I can meditate if I gotta but... Um. I'm still a wolf in human form."

Meaning Lilly knows she'll get bored.
