Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!

3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Lorna nodded, sighing softly. She knew all too well what it was like to work toward an unattainable goal.

His mention of a doctor made her look up again, an amused look on her face. "I have one. Freaking Merlin is my doctor."

Remy blinked, then shrugged. Life had been weirder.

Not much. But still.

"Well, good. One thing less to worry about." He grinned. "You always did make friends fast."

"It's because I have awesome boobs," Lorna noted, snorting a little at her own silliness. She led the way into a little cafe and hovered for a moment to rest her aching feet. "You'll make friends fast too, I'm sure."

Remy laughed. "You do, yes. A nice pair." Remy chuckled. He had been around so many sexy pairs of boobs for so long that they started to be less 'in his brain' so to speak.

"Sit. I'll get us something to eat, now, okay?" he waggled fingers at her at the table.

Lorna laughed and took her seat, sighing softly. She could feel her feet swelling inside her shoes. Stupid pregnancy. She didn't regret her non-choice of being incautious, and she already loved her baby, but this was ridiculous and not going to lead to anything but heartbreak.

Still, she had friends and that was nice. She watched Remy go, her hands resting on the curve of her belly.

Remy ordered them some fruit, and some waters, then came back with a menu, and those items.

"Okay, so we got fruit and water, and a menu so you can figure out what else you like."

Remy found a spot opposite her, casually took one of her feet up, slid the shoe off and began to massage it.

Probably he wasn't allowed to rub her feet here, but it felt so good that she didn't have the heart to tell him to stop. "God, are you trying to seduce me? Because it's working."

Remy laughed. "Wasn't trying, but never turn down a gorgeous lady who's a friend, no. Later, though. Got to feed your other hungers, chere'."

"I'm full of all kind of hunger," she said with a smirk. Now, she thought, was the time to be honest. "And I have to admit that the other version of you is in the pool of potential fathers for my little girl."

Remy laughed and stuck out his tongue at her.

Then he blinked, and nodded. "Remy didn't know that, but is honored, chere'. He do his best to help, either way, you know dat', right?"

"I do, thank you. I am definitely going to need help. I know more than most how important it is for a baby to have a father." The X-men were an astonishing tribute to the lasting power of daddy issues.

"Yeah, that's true, I think. More important to have a good one than just any one, though." Or so Remy thought.

"I think that, too. I mean, blood is important, but family isn't blood." They were different things entirely, from Lorna's perspective. She'd been raised by people who turned out to not be related to her at all and they'd been wonderful to her, while her father was a mass murderer.

Remy nodded, and slid to a seat, wiping his hands and taking a sip of water, then grinning.

"So, any plans now that you are here?"

"Stay out of trouble. Find a father for my baby. Have a healthy little girl and teach her to take over the world." Lorna smiled. "You know, the usual stuff."

"All good ideas." Remy chuckled. "But taking over the world is too much trouble. Never a good idea." He waggled a finger at her.

Lorna laughed. "I just want what's best for her, and if she takes this place over maybe that means she can stay and be relatively safe."

"Doubt that. Whenever someone is in charge, there are always people gunning for them. She takes over, she puts a target on her back, where maybe there wasn't one before that." Remy waggled a finger at her.

"Better maybe to just raise her as normal."

"Bah, fine," Lorna said with a laugh. "But if she takes over the world anyway I won't be sorry."

Remy snorted. "Well, okay." He chuckled. then. "S'good to see you, Lorna."

Lorna's hand found Remy's. "It's good to see you too."
