Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!
2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!
3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!
New Arrival
"Excuse me, but, you were on the boat that just came as well, correct?" His voice had a foreign accent, something akin to eastern Europe.... though he kind of sounded like Dracula if one was truely paying attention. "I myself, just arrived as well." He knew damn well she was on the boat, he saw her.
no subject
"Were any of us really on the boat?" she asked, before shaking her head. "I guess I was. I'm still trying to decide if I'm dead, been drugged, or just finally fuckin' snapped." She squinted at the hoodie.
"You dressed up as the Unibomber or something?"
no subject
"As long as you do not start singing that Lonely Island song, I would say, we were most definitely on a boat." He retorted in his heavy accent.
"No, and that's one i haven't heard in a long while." He actually chuckled. "My trench coat was destroyed in a brawl... I do not like the sun on my skin." He explained like trench coats are normal.
"We are neither dead, trust me. I'm a doctor I can tell." More he can hear that lovely heart pumping just fine... he almost could guess she doesn't smoke cigarettes either, he could be wrong but he has just met the girl.
no subject
Considering she was also wearing a trenchcoat, she would be the last one to judge.
"Vampires, unite," she continues ironically, not knowing how close to the truth she was. She didn't see the light of day - Tenna had called her a vampire more then once. The second time, bits of garlic were shoved up Devi's nose and she couldn't smell anything else for 2 days.
"So it's back to drugged hallucinations or insanity. Good. I love options," she finished with a deadpan expression.
no subject
To bad she couldn't see his eyes widen. Shit was there blood on his face! He reached down and pulled a pair of sunglasses from the hoodie and slipped them on before offering his pale hand down to help her up if she wanted it. He had long clear nails, like someone went to the nail salon, but nope those babies are natural. "Umm, yes something like that i suppose. I simply have sensitive skin and eyes, it makes such a lifestyle easier." He played it off. He actually liked garlic.
"Or another option, alternating realities overlapping. Quantum physics is not my field however."
no subject
".... Okay, sure. That's not any less outlandish then hallucinations." But not insanity, obviously. "Man, summer must suck for you."
Real nice, Devi.
no subject
Fish are friends, not food."Not exactly but shared hallucinations are not a common occurrence." He offered before rolling his eyes behind his shades. It was bright enough for it to be seen to. "You have no idea. Being Greek I should have had a marvelous tan, but no. I have this ultra sensitive skin. It's really not fair." Such was his life.
