Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!

3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Carter Kane. He's a magician answering to the Egyptian gods. Annabeth and I met him and his sister a while ago.

[ He nods. This is supposed to mean something. ]

Yeah. Sorry. I'm trying, there's just not much to go on.

"Hey, I could be some mythomagic genius!" Will protested. "The world could be missing out." He gave him a smirk. "And by world, I mean you."

And of course Nico got the worst thing in the bag. Will grabbed a bottle of water, and unsealed it with a twist. He peaked under the table at the duffle, wondering if Nico had the Hades figurine too, or if he left that one at home. For...obvious reasons.

"Definitely sounds like it," Paige agreed. She was curious about these other angels and was sure she'd run into them eventually.

"So I'm guessing you've tried all the usual ways of getting back or contacting everyone back home." She waited, hoping he would fill her in on exactly what did and didn't work, magic-wise.

[Will smiles, glad his suggestion is being taken to heart. Despite it also being completely hilarious.]

You could do a lot of good there. And it could count as practice, for when we all get sucked back home.

[Will didn't finish, because that sentence didn't need finishing. For when they got sucked home and something horrible happened again.]

"There's a chalk triquetra in the house they gave me with some pretty nasty potions stains on it. I've tried a couple spells too. Whatever's blocking the spell, I think I just need more power." Kind of like you Paige. Or Wyatt. He could really use Wyatt.

"Maybe if we had all three of you here, or Wyatt, we could get somewhere."

Oh, Chris was pretty sure you would Paige. They knew who he was after all, and what he felt like. They'd probably track her down in no time.

Younger? Okay, so apparently she was going to come back here in the future. Or something. Except from what Gabriel was saying, it sounded almost like he'd encountered a younger version of her. She hadn't been a teacher in a long time. Maybe she went back to it while she was here.

"That does sound like me," she admitted. "Nice to meet you again, Gabriel. Uh, I guess you already know my name is Paige." She gave him a little smile.

He needed more power? Cue one aunt ready and willing to lend a magical hand.

"Why wait for them to show up? I bet you and I can get somewhere." Paige had gone off on her own enough times to feel confident in at least trying. Whether it went anywhere or not would just have to be discovered as it happened.

Like he said. Multiple universe fuckery.

"Yup," Gabriel agrees. "Although I had to find out from Chris. I wasn't really sticking around to chat the time you and I met. I found out from him because of a get-together we were having about the differences between worlds, lest he stomps on toes and gets bitch-slapped for it. Again. Told him I've seen his mode of travel before and produced an illusion to show him who I'd met. Cue him recognizing you."

Chris didn't want to burst her bubble and point out that if the Elder--sorry, Archangel, couldn't leave, they probably couldn't either. But hey, maybe he was wrong.

"I thought about modifying the source vanquishing spell to give an extra power boost, maybe combining it with a spell to open a portal and a potion?" Chris ideas out there. He'd tried so many combinations, he couldn't keep track. But, he knew they had all failed. At least before. Maybe with Paige it would be different? Hey, he could be optimistic!

[ You're a gods-damned temptress, Annabeth Chase. ]

A little, [ Nico admits. He knows he'll end up playing to make up the numbers, after all, and he won't go easy on his opponents. ]

I'm just trying to promote the game.

[ Too late, di Angelo. ]

"Oh, sure," Nico agrees, while rolling his eyes. "That's actually what I'm looking for in a boyfriend, by the way. If you're not a natural Mythomagic player, we're over."

[ Nico considers the past couple years. He accepted the Romans easily enough. It's fair to say that the Egyptians might be responsible for a few other things. (Gosh darned penguins every time he stepped foot in Brooklyn, for instance...) ]

Uh-huh. [Called it.]

I'm not saying it's a bad thing. You are the best.

[ preeeeen-- wait. ] Only out of the demigods. Greek demigods, that is -- I still haven't played against Frank.

Will got a huge grin on his face when Nico said the 'b' word. Boyfriend. Sure, they were alone, but he said it! Now if he could get him to not be completely embarressed by it in public, but small steps Will. Small steps.

"I'm sorry I didn't quite hear you. Can you say that first part again?"

Maybe he'll show up and you finally can. [That's a game she'd pay money to see.]

"About Mythomagic, or--"

Nico suddenly realises what Will means and stops.

Did he say...? He did.

Nico swallows, blinks and says, "I said, 'oh sure'."

She almost thought he meant Witch, until he said that they create the worlds.... she presumed he meant realms? Maybe? *Dragons....?* That was as far back as her knowledge went. Did the Dragons create the realms, or just the Blood?

She nodded, looking over her shoulder. "I wasn't sure if the things they gave us was safe, be careful."

"Oh, sorry, Jaenelle. Ah... Witch." She forgot that Talon and the others had been so confused when she mentioned Jaenelle before. "The Queen of Ebon Askavi."
