Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!

3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Sebastian is just as awed. So much so he hasn't moved from the entrance and he thinks maybe he could cry. If he weren't in a public place where anyone could see him cry over books. Including the guy standing next to him.

He glanced over, blushing slightly at his own reaction. But this was the most beautiful library he'd ever seen. There were so many books! Books he knew he'd never seen before and might never see again if he were to leave. He wanted to find a nice quiet corner and read all of them.

Alec blinked at the potential threat but understood the reason behind it. He'd make the same kind of comment if he thought someone might harm others here. "If I wanted to cause trouble, I wouldn't warn you to stay out of the Seelie's way if they come after me but I'm not planning on causing trouble. I'm kind of a cop in my world. It's my sacred duty to protect others." Not quite sacred in the way Mundanes might mean it but there had been angelic intervention. "I don't pick fights but if someone comes after me or those who need my help..."

[Alec looks genuinely confused. It's something he's heard of, vaguely, but it's not something Shadowhunters worry about.]

I think the abduction is because godlike or things that think they're godlike enjoy messing with us 'normal mortals'.

It doesn't look like Midgard. Or even Alfheim, but he hadn't been back there in so long that it could have looked exactly like this and he wouldn't know.

Harry smiled, and nodded. "Good." He listened, nodding to the words, and hoping the man was telling the truth.

"Then hopefully we wont see any Fae here, and wont have to worry on it." Harry could hope!

His life rarely worked out that way, but he could hope.

"How long have you been here?"

That wasn't even surprising, really, but most people at least knew the name.

It's Earth. One of the Nine Realms.

Sorry for the mild swear, it is a common word as well as a place name, for her people.

*Nine...? There are three. Terrielle, Kaleer, and Hell.*

He just shrugged at that. They're all right. It depends who you ask. There are nine I know of. Midgard, Asgard, Hel, Nidavellir, Jotunheim, Muspellheim, Vanaheim, Svartalfheim, and Alfheim.

I've never been there. With any luck he'd never end up there, but it was hard to say, what with Magnus' adventures going the way they were.

It's...not a good place to be.

*Well, I mean... I wouldn't want to be there because I died, but I'm sure if I wound up there by accident, Saetan would be willing to help me get back home.* And murder whoever was responsible for sending her there in the first place, but she preferred not to think about that, really.

Sorry, Hel is a goddess too. He really should have known to clarify that.

*What... is a Goddess?* asked the woman who just spoke of Saetan as if he was someone she knew well enough to count on his aid...

"It tends to be one of the earliest demands. Just getting it out of the way," Gabriel says with a shrug. "The phone they gave you will have the location of your house, if you haven't bothered turning it on yet."

"Hullo, Cassidy," Hermione said courteously. She frowned at the news of everyone showing up in a similar way. "So this place just brings people here... and no one knows how or why?" Worse, if no one knew how or why, they wouldn't know how to get back.

It made the place feel more sinister.

Her Court...? Paige's eyebrow lifted in curiosity. "Well, between your court and my sisters, if we were kidnapped, the guys behind it are gonna be in huge trouble."

It's a test designed to torture you with hard words. [made even harder when you're dyslexic. Sob]

The sad thing is I don't even know which gods to blame anymore.

She nodded. "I don't like it. It doesn't feel tainted or off... but there is something not right here, all the same...."

"Works for me," she said with a small nod. "And yes, my sisters as well." Oh Darkness. When someone goes to the keep, and JAENELLE finds out she's gone missing....

Cassidy pales as she thinks over the consequences of that. Mother Night Mother Night Mother Night! HEr freckles are, after a moment, the only color on her face. Oooooooh Mother Night.....

"We.... need to figure out how to get home," she whispered.

Hermione had to agree: there was definitely something wrong with this place. The question remained what that something could be. "Well, we won't figure it out by standing around. Let's see if we can find anyone in charge."

The other woman looked like Paige felt. "Hey." She reached out, trying to calm Cassidy down. "It's okay. We'll find a way." She wasn't sure how, exactly, but she was sure she could think up a spell or something.

Sorry for the randomness, but it was too tempting...

Okay, Donovan wasn't sure where he was, but that wasn't too alarming... Given who his wife was, who his sons were, things happened. He was fairly easy going, fairly willing to go with the flow, generally. Still, he'd rather be home. All the same, he was here, wherever here was, and he had his axe - he means a guitar, and he had his sword, and he had his general wit and good humor and...

He spotted an Orc! Alright! He considered taking off his shirt, to show off his Kelsheen mark, but then he's have to carry it, and his pink jacket looked better against the black shirt. Besides, nothing quite beat a dramatic reveal.

So, with a grin on his lips, his axe on his back, his sword on his hip, and a friendly wave, he approached the lone Orc. And did what he does when confronted with an Orc, speak to them in their own language, it's only polite, right? "Fruit! My name is little pink man who wears pink."
