For a moment all she can do is sway against them like they're a pair of trees in a fierce wind, until she can finally pull back and look at his face. Her hands come up to cup his cheeks.

"I thought I'd lost you. To time, to distance - I don't know. I don't really understand what's happened." And she suspects neither does he, but right now she doesn't even care.

When lifts up on the balls of her feet to kiss him, she's certain that he's going to meet her halfway. She doesn't care who sees.
