Bran did keep a hand close to Nymeria. He felt safer being close to his sister's direwolf. While, in his heart, he would prefer Summer, he knew that if it came to it, Nymeria would protect him just the same.
"Sansa is here?" He asked, trying to keep the excitement from his voice. So much had happened since they were those carefree children playing the courtyard of Winterfell, he didn't want to hope for more family. If need be, Arya would be enough. And yet he couldn't help but ask. "Anyone else?"
He watched Nymeria go and while he was sad of her gone, her mission was important. Bran turned in the chair to try and face his sister while they talked but failed. Sighing, he nodded. "They did." He said, in answer to her question. "Not long after I woke."
