Test Drive

Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon. Or, attend one of the many block parties!

3. Lost!: Somehow you got yourself turned around and confused and getting back to where you want to be is looking impossible.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

[Robb keeps smiling and her words make him hopeful. Even though he cannot entirely place the presence of his aunt.]

Aunt Lysa? [It is the only aunt he knows of. The wife of the late Jon Arryn, hidden inside the Vale with her son. He remembers her vaguely but he knows he cannot count on her support in his war and that is disappointing, to say the least. He could use the forces of the Vale...] I take it she has brought her son?

[But the other names make him grin broadly.]

Jon is here as well? I would like to see him... [And then...wait...] My father? [Now Robb’s smile disappears and the look on his face turns solemn.] How is he here? He is dead.

[So many difficult things to explain, but she had so little understanding of how this world worked. Only the barest facts, which would only raise more questions. Death, timelines, even why they were here, she couldn't answer that.

There was only the consolation that at least he wasn't alone, which she hoped would be enough for now.]

Your father and...your Aunt Lyanna are here. Whatever brings us here wields powerful magic. People are pulled in from different points in their lives, some before they died and others after the moments of their death.

It's extremely complicated and confusing, I'm afraid.

That is necromancy! [The words come tumbling from his mouth in a sudden way, the tone of his voice an obvious shocked one. Of course, he has had longed to see his lord father again. To speak to him and laugh with him. To hear his voice.

But to call the dead back... Robb cannot help to feel torn about it.]
My aunt Lyanna...she lies inside the crypts of Winterfell, my lady. Father once showed me her grave.

And my father...

[Then he silences briefly so he can frown really deeply.]

Can I see him? [He might be a corpse and if that is so, he might have to end that.]

Not exactly. [How did she even begin to define it? It wasn't exactly necromancy but something else. Something...not so dark or ominous.] I think it is a bit more like being selected from different points in time. Rather like picking pebbles from different parts of a stream.

[It was confusing, even for someone living under these conditions for months now.]

Of course. I don't know where he is at the moment, but I could help you find him?
