Test Drive

Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!
2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon. Or, attend one of the many block parties!
3. Lost!: Somehow you got yourself turned around and confused and getting back to where you want to be is looking impossible.
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!
Sheriff Stilinski | Teen Wolf | 2
And as he walked around five islands(in the sky!), he realized with a sinking feeling, that he had found himself in a whole new pond of weirdness, and with a whole new set of rules to learn. He had gone shown up in his civies, as rare as it was that he wore them, and he was glad of it now, for it made fading into the woodwork easier. Things his young proteges mostly did not know included that he had done his first year as a rookie in undercover. He had found his house, a better house than he had owned back home, and the things within it, and he had realized someone here knew actual magic... or something. And he had put himself into his new clothing, carefully concealed his gun, and headed out to explore, as undercover as he could get. He recalled all those skills, even if they were years old.
That made it easier to fade into the crowds, find a store and change clothing, and then wander, doing his best not to look like a complete tourist, and idiot. Mind you, it had been a long time since then, and a lot of shocks. And he felt his face forming into a pattern of incredulity every time he saw something new and odd. Like the flying man, or the flying younger man, or the guy who just happened to change shape in front of him, or even the younger man who had been talking to what looked like a freaking baby dragon on his shoulder!
Whatever was going on, Stilinski knew he needed to figure it out, and fast.
Because things just kept getting weirder.
Damn, now would be a great time for Stiles to be here.

What she doesn't expect is the older man not that far from her that day. Even as her fingers play with the sheriff badge in her pocket. That couldn't,"- Dad?" Maybe she shouldn't of come out today. Perhaps the heatwave was finally getting to her and making her see things, something.
no subject
Because, really, both usually followed her.
no subject
Oh god, so it was him. She doesn't bother waiting for him to really dart toward her. Instead, she moves towards him and wraps her arms around him in a tight hug burying her face into his chest. She could feel the tears trying to well up because this is something she'd wanted, hoped for. Just... this was more than she could've ever hoped for. Right now, however, she didn't want to let go of him. After all, with how her brain worked she figured if she let go then he'd disappear.
"You're okay. You're here."
no subject
"God, I'm glad to see you, so glad." He murmured the words to her, holding on. His girl, his daughter, was here and seemed okay. And that meant his world was back on axis. Back on right on it's correct function.
He could breathe again.
...if she didn't squeeze his lungs out, that was.
...eh, he could deal.
He smiled as he held on, and if there was moisture in his eyes, it was probably dust, or allergies. Yes.
"Seems like you found an adventure again."
no subject
Eventually she pulls back and gives her dad a smile. The tears, they were going to be ignored. As long as her old man ignored the ones that were forming in her eyes. All she knew was that she couldn't be happier to see him.
"You're not hurt are you? You're really okay? Nothing hurts? Where did they even house you?" Well, sheriff, this would be your daughter talking a mile a minute. Hey, they were all valid questions that she needed answers to as well.
no subject
"I'm on Imber." He nodded and stuffed it back in his pockets.
"How long have you been here? Where are you assigned? Where's Scott?" Because, again, imagining one without the other was... hard.
no subject
"I'm doing great," she says with a bit of a laugh. "As for what's going on we're in a place called Medietas and we're on, well, floating Islands. That much was obvious though wasn't it?" Hearing where he was being assigned she couldn't help but give a huge grin," I'm on Imber in 106."
"Uh... I've been here for a while, lost track of how long." Because so much has gone on since she's gotten there. So it's been a while, that was for sure. "As for Scotty, he's here too. So is Lydia and Derek."
no subject
"Have you eaten recently? Taken your meds?" The words were soft, meant for no one else's ears, and totally dadspeak.
"Sounds like we're neighbors. Think you can deal with being near your dad again?" He grinned at her, worried and impressed, both, with how well things were going.
"So... half the pack. And Derek." Okay, so he tended to treat Derek as the red-headed step-child of the group. Yes. This was true.
no subject
She was as okay as she'd ever be. Which was to say that she had a little voice in her head that she was actively trying to ignore. Maybe it was because the meds had stopped working or perhaps it was because she'd stopped taking them. "Yes and yes, dad," she says with a bit of a chuckle.
"I don't know... maybe I'd prefer it if you moved in with me instead," she tells him. It would make her nights easier and there'd be less nightmares. At least that's what she told herself anyway. "Hey! Leave my sourwolf alone. He's pack too, you know. Always will be even if disappeared for a while."
"ALSO, I have a job here."
no subject
He had made damn sure she knew everything she could about it, as soon as he could, as awkward as that had been. No daughter of his would ever be uneducated. Ever.
"Okay! Okay. I know when I'm defeated." he raised his hands in surrender, then grinned, eyes wider, if maybe a little playfully.
"You got a job?"
no subject
"Yep! At a little coffee shop here," she tells him with a grin.
no subject
he paused. "You really have a job?" It was teasing, and gentle, and there was pride in his voice. His girl was growing up!
"Well, you know me, I'm the noisy neighbor." He felt like he had gone through a time warp. Here was his girl, doing adult things, even more than saving the world. How had he missed this?

"Someone let you have unlimited coffee, and the islands are still standing? I'm impressed." He poked the wall near them. "This place must be sturdier than i thought." He teased her lightly, eyes on her, warm with love and laughter.
no subject
"The islands are still standing and I've had all the coffee I can handle," she says with a grin. "It's pretty damn sturdy."
no subject
He gently hugged her shoulders with one arm, enjoying being able to do that.
"And how's your sleep been?" Don't think he didn't notice, young lady. You may be good at keeping some secrets, but not all of them.
Re: Sheriff Stilinski | Teen Wolf | 2
After finding her home and then leaving again, Melissa made her way back to what she was guessing was the main island since it was floating in the middle of the other islands and it sported a rather huge castle. Not that she was going near the castle yet. No, she had decided to poke around at the different shops and the market.
She was still considering everything when a familiar form caught her attention. Turning, she blinked at the sight of her long time friend. The confusion only lasted for a second before it was replaced with elation and relief. She called out his name before she started hurrying towards him, practically running as she slipped through the crowd.
Re: Sheriff Stilinski | Teen Wolf | 2
he stared at her, grinning like a loon, as if he could memorize her features... and as if he had not already done so. He became very aware his hands were still on her shoulders, and he flushed, bright red, as he took a long breath. "M-Melissa. It's good to see you." And, well, if his voice was a little hoarse, maybe just maybe he had realized how much, even back home, he had missed her.
"Ah, how long have you been here?" He felt flustered, and as if his axis had somehow shifted, in a way that felt eerily familiar, and yet, not something he could lay his finger on.
*Flails*...eeh, how did I not see this..
She was doing errands of her own. No, not really errands, but walking around the shops was better and less maddening than staying around her flat all day aside from work. She needed more cleaning supplies certainly, maybe a few small garden plants for the porch-some sort of greenery.
Sonya was held a bag with a few potted herbs when she saw him, actually doing a double take when she saw his face. "Johnny?"
Two months she'd been here without seeing a familiar face..two months not allowing herself the hope of any sign of home, and yet..part of her wondered if it was even him. Even after the invasion, the man she was seeing now looked much older than she last saw him..more careworn then Cage.
Even so, she prayed it was him.
S'okay! This is made worse by the fact that his name is John in fanon.
"Hello? Can I help you?"
Because the look on her face, well, it looked like someone who needed help, and even before he was sheriff, he had always responded to that look.
Re: S'okay! This is made worse by the fact that his name is John in fanon.
Sonya actually felt the color drain from her face-or maybe that was her her heart going to her stomach. "You..you don't know me?"
She forced herself to breath, to shove back the emotions that threatened to come out. Two months..two months in this place and the chance of a familiar face was less as a friend and more a mockery.
no subject
He watched her, worried now. She looked far worse than she had a moment ago. "Why don't you sit down for a moment, and we can get you a water or something?"
no subject
Sonya looked away a moment before she faced him away, her expression set. "I'm fine.." Lies, but she wasn't about to show weakness. "And you can't-he's not here. He would've made himself known on the network otherwise."
Because that was just like Cage's ego-always had to make a sort of entrance or let others know who he was.
no subject
"I'm sorry. I know how it is to miss people. I hope you find them again." With what he had already learned about the multiverse, anything was possible.
