Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon. Or, attend one of the many block parties!

3. Lost!: Somehow you got yourself turned around and confused and getting back to where you want to be is looking impossible.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Finn sighed. The man had a point. "You have a point. How do I get better?" He had no idea how medicine worked. They were always taken into the medical wing, lost consciousness and then woke up better.

He perked up a little, curious.

"Oh? What's that?"

"A benefit of me being what I am, I don't need all the medical equipment they've got in the clinic. C'mere," he says, beckoning at Finn.

"As for getting in touch with her... By using the phone I know they gave you to leave a message for her on the network," Gabriel points out. "If she's here and checks it on a regular basis, she'll see it. And if not her, maybe someone else you know."

Finn didn't understand, but he staggered toward the man, nonetheless. Hell, this was all probably some fever dream hallucination he was having as he was dying on that damn forest floor, anyway. "So this little rectangle is like a comm unit? I've never seen anything like that, or heard of the word phone."

Finn nodded. "Worth a try. Thank you." If he could figure out how to do it, what a network was, and how to make a message that Rey would get, but agents of the First Order would not. He had a headache, just thinking about it.

Gabriel rests his hand on Finn's forehead and a moment of concentration later, all of the physical damage to Finn is repaired. Although he's going to need to get a new shirt and so on. Gabriel ain't that helpful.

"All fixed," Gabriel announces, withdrawing his hand. "And yeah, basically. It should be easy enough for you to figure out with some fiddling around. Phone is short for telephone; they're what people use for communication where I'm from; although more often than not, they don't tend to have a video function."

Finn gasped as the pain was wrenched away, and suddenly he felt... whole. How...?

He stared at the man, but how could... "Are you a Jedi?" Because what else could the being be?

He listened more carefully, his head clear, and his mind focused, and felt like he had not in a long time. Wow.

"I... I will figure it out. Thank you." He breathed out, then smiled. "I don't know how you did that, but thank you." He extended a hand to the other.

"Nope. I'm an archangel. There's a couple of lower level angels around here too. Healing is just one of the things we can do," Gabriel says, accepting the handshake before shoving both of his hands into his pockets. "And yes, I'm aware you wouldn't know what an angel is. Popping off to the religious text section of the library would give you a pretty good idea, although a lot of the stuff will be wrong."

Finn shook his hand and then nodded, listening. "What's a-right, okay. Religious section of the library? So... there are myths about you?" Finn asked it as he fished out the phone, peering at it, then at the man. Person. Angel? What the hell was an angel?

Finn had the vaguest sense he had heard the term before. But he didn't know where. Or how.

"So what do... we do here? And flying islands? For real?" Finn, now thinking, was feeling overwhelmed.

"On the planet I've been kicking around for the last couple thousand years before ending up here, there are three major religions that follow my Father. So yes. You might say that," he says drily.

Right, moving on before this guy could flail too much. "Flying islands for real, yep. You'll get used to it. As for what we do, it's whatever we're inclined to. Unless trouble shows up, at which point, those of us up to it will deal with it."

"Oh, okay. That must suck. A lot." Finn thought that kind of notoriety would just be too much. Finn wasn't even comfortable with prolonged attention from one or two people. That many as would real religious texts? That was too many.

"Okay." he nodded, and blew out a long breath of air. "Okay. I guess I'll figure out this phone thing and try to... figure out what this means to me." He was confused still, but felt less shaky.

"Thank you."

"A bit, yep. I'd explain more but I just recently got to explain some of it to a five-year-old and I'm not up to answering a hundred questions again yet," he says wryly.

"Anyway, you should probably figure out your phone and find wherever it says you're staying."

Finn laughed. "I could see how that would be. Maybe another day." He shook his head.

"Thanks. See you around the islands, then." Finn, took a deep breath, and started off. Maybe he could handle this. Maybe.

"Another time then," Gabriel says before taking off to parts elsewhere.
