Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon. Or, attend one of the many block parties!

3. Lost!: Somehow you got yourself turned around and confused and getting back to where you want to be is looking impossible.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

[ He's not really paying much attention to who he was grabbing, but Lothar still instantly recognizes Khadgar. It's the terrible attempt at a beard for certain. There's a small sense of relief at seeing someone from back home; for a while Lothar has been wondering if this was some poor excuse of a breakdown.

That would have been the worst.]

You took your time in showing up. You're coming with me.

[That earned a bit of a confused look at first before he sighed in resignation. Well, he had been seeking Lothar when he'd been abruptly yanked here. A corner of his mind wondered perhaps if that's why he ended up here.

Well, since he knew that leaving wasn't possible, he might as well entertain the commander. As annoying as the man could be, he was a familiar face and Khadgar was in no hurry to go lose himself amid strangers alone again so soon.]

Lead the way then.

[ The sigh gets a raise of an eyebrow along with an unimpressed look. Anyone would think that Khadgar was the one being inconvenienced by the whole thing and just that thought alone has a small twitch of the lips, a smirk threatening beneath the surface. Typical kid.]

Come on then. Or are you going to tell me that mages don't drink? [ Lothar keeps his tone light enough as he starts heading in the direction Khadgar had pointed out. He needed a drink, needed it yesterday. Everything that could go wrong had gone wrong in the last day or so and a change of scenery wasn't going to help.] We'll have a drink and then you can do one of your portals and we'll head back.

[He falls into step beside Lothar easily enough, quietly debating on just how he was going to tackle the problem that the other man just abruptly dropped into his lap. Given he'd already tried to 'head back' and had failed, and as amusing as seeing the other man suffer as he had earlier when he had tried, he'd no doubt get pulled along for the ride.

Since he had just finished cleaning up from the mess that had resulted not all that long ago, he didn't really care for the idea of going through it all again.]

I drink in moderation. [Too much tended to have adverse affects on his ability to do magic unfortunately.] As for the portal, it won't work.

Not surprised. [ Then again, Lothar would later wonder just how good an idea it would be to get a mage like Khadgar drunk. It would more than likely go on the list of Bad Ideas That Were Funny at the Time™]

And what do you even mean the portal won't work? You can draw your runes on the ground and then it'll work. [ Even as Lothar says it, he knows what the truth is. Whatever it is that has brought them here sure doesn't intend to let them go back home so easily and just the idea of it is enough to have his teeth grinding.] Did you try?

Yes. I tried it while on the boat that brought me here. That one failed to do anything but put on show for the people around me. [He suspects the boat may have had spells on it of some kind to keep such magic from being accomplished.]

I tried again here in the city...it worked in the sense that I left this city. [He had no intention of telling the man just exactly where he'd ended up. No doubt Lothar would laugh at him over it.]

Instead of sending me home, it sent me to another part of this world.
