Test Drive

Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon. Or, attend one of the many block parties!

3. Lost!: Somehow you got yourself turned around and confused and getting back to where you want to be is looking impossible.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Robb still has trouble readjusting to all of this. She speaks of years that have passed and he finds himself unable to string everything together properly. Arya has definitely grown. She is taller and almost a woman grown. And while many questions bubble up inside of his head he decides not to bother with them right now. They would come later, after he has had a proper bath and rid himself of his armor.

When she stands up again he moves to sit, reaching out for the straps of the iron leg pieces so he can loose them. His face is a little red and his hair is an absolute mess.

“Is that true?” There is a hint of disbelief in his eyes. “Is this...some sort of after life? Where the dead go? Are you dead as well, Arya?” The disbelief on his face changes to fear. He has too much to do.

“Am I dead?” Robb blinks at his sister, knowing very well that he was alive the last time he checked. The Crag’s archers gave his army a hard time. “I cannot remember taking an arrow...”

"No. It's not the afterlife. We're alive." She bites her lip, hoping to keep the lie buried. She couldn't tell Robb that he had lost the war. She didn't want to see the defeated look on his face when he would come to know what happened. She was alive but he and Bran and Rickon and their parents were all gone.

"What's the last thing you remember?" She'd heard most of the battles he'd had while at Harrenhall, lurking in silence as the Ghost. She'd lost track of him when she'd left, but they'd almost come close to reuniting at the Twins. She would have died with him, had the Hound not stopped her.

Arya moves to help him loose some of his armor. It was incredibly hot today and he had to be warm inside the plate metal. He wouldn't need it here anyway, not for the moment.

“I have a war to fight...” Robb murmurs the words softly, frowning a little while he tries to put the pieces together. He does not like it when he cannot explain certain things and he really wants to know the reason why he is here/ Of course, he should not question the gods’ decisions but here he stands, face to face with a long lost sister.

“A siege on the Crag.” He smiles a little because that siege was going well and it would not take long before the Westerlings would give in. His first big step into the Westerlands and he’s fully planning to conquer it and by a thorn in Tywin Lannister’s eye.

To be fair, Robb is almost boiling inside his armor and tiny drops of sweat are gathering on his face, his hair sticking to his forehead a little. Arya’s help is a good thing and while he instructs her to work on the leg pieces he starts to remove the arm pieces, followed by his belt.
“Do you have something to put it into? Is there a cart nearby?”

She's glad he's asked her to work on the leg pieces. Then he can't see that she's biting her lip and he knows full well when she does that she's keeping something from someone or lying to them. It was all she could do not to let tears free when he mentions the Crag. She'd been in Harrenhall during that seige and it would be some time yet before he would die at the Twins. She'd heard the rumors and knew the story since: Robb Stark, the Young Wolf, had won every battle but lost the war for the fact that he had married a girl while promised to one of Walder Frey's. That had cost him the Frey's support - however thin it was - and when he'd beheaded Lord Karstark he lost a large chunk of their bannermen that had been provided by Karstark.

Had he met the girl already? Did she even love him and did he love her? She didn't want to ask. It wasn't her place to ask. Still, he seemed happy. He was smiling when she looked up at him again after freeing the leg pieces.

"I have a small cart I use sometimes for sea glass. Sansa thinks they're pretty." And she rushed off to go grab it while he worked on the arm pieces. It wasn't a large cart but it would be enough for him to move his armor. It already had pieces of sea glass she'd abandoned in it. She normally didn't use it to collect shells.

The more armor he loses the better he feels. The heat becomes more bearable and at a point sweat stops accumulating on his back. It is quite unreal to see his sister helping him in such a way. She grew so much over time and he realizes how much he has missed. How much he missed his family. How much he had to trade the Kingslayer for his sisters instead.

“And you? What is the latest thing you remember?” Maybe then he could figure out if she still was in King’s Landing, a prisoner of those bloody Lannisters and that craven of a Joffrey Baratheon. The memory of the tall boy with the blond curls makes him frown visibly. Gods, how he wants to take his head. If he would get the chance he would do it for all the realm to see. Still, he bans those thoughts the moment they bubble up inside of him. It is no time for vengeful thoughts now.

“Sansa?” He cocks his head a little when Arya mentions her name. “Is she with you? Is she here?”

Did they bring him to some sort of godforsaken place to reunite him with the ones he missed? There’s a puzzled expression on his face while he stands, hands moving to unbuckle the belt around his waist so he can take off his surcoat.

"I remember lots of things. Lots of time passing." she hesitates, moving a piece of his armor into the cart to distract herself. What he didn't know was that she had been practiced in learning how to move quickly and quietly and to help undress a man's armor. Roose Bolton had come to Harrenhall and she had been tasked to be his cupbearer. She had put leeches on his skin and kept to herself otherwise.

"She is. We both found ourselves here. I escaped King's Landing after- after what the Queen and Joffrey did. She stayed their prisoner." And there was so much more to that story. She wanted to tell him how close she'd come - how she'd made it all the way to the Twins but had to leave for her safety after she watched them slaughter everyone in Robb's forces that attended their uncle's wedding.
