Test Drive

Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!
2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon. Or, attend one of the many block parties!
3. Lost!: Somehow you got yourself turned around and confused and getting back to where you want to be is looking impossible.
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

So, instead, he walked over to the man who was shorter than him and gave him a smile. "Lord Tyrion." He tried not to let the different face faze him. Everyone he knew was different here. Somehow time had passed for his family and not for me. Apparently it did for Lannisters as well as Starks.

"...All right, I am going to start considering myself in the Lands Beyond." He tipped his head, "Lord Bran. Are we dead?"

A pause, and something in Tyrion's expression paused -- flicker of hope perhaps? "Lady Sansa, or Lady Arya?"
no subject
At least he could distract himself from it by answering the other question posed to him. "I wouldn't call Arya a lady. She's not above punching anyone. But I meant Sansa. She lives on Eurus."
no subject
Please be happy, Lord Stark. Please run, and play, and climb all the things you should not climb.
He pauses again, and this time it is joy that he pushes down. "...I would be pleased to see Lady Sansa." A pause, "If she would be pleased to see me."
no subject
Bran nods and points towards the bridge to Eurus. "Her home is that way. Let's try there first. I don't see why shouldn't be pleased to see you. She defends you at every turn." And he starts walking that way assuming the other will follow.
no subject
- What?
"Defends me?" He stares at the back of the boy's head for a moment, before he waddles on after him. "To - whom? And ... why?"
no subject
"To anyone who would speak ill of you. She says you're a good man. And I trust my sister."
Bran stopped at the bridge and, after waiting for Tyrion to catch up, knelt down so he was no longer taller than the dwarf. He didn't tower over him like men grown, but he wanted to be face to face when he asked this of the man. "Tell me truthfully, is my sister right? Where would your allegiance lie if our prayers are not answered?" He wanted to believe Sansa but after everything he'd heard, and his own experience, he wanted to be sure he was doing the right thing.
no subject
He's surprised by that - surprised she would defend him so readily, considering. Well. Considering that she loathed him so much during their marriage or at least, loathed the idea of being married to him.
The question settled some of Tyrion's suspicions, into facts. He had a feeling Bran knew precisely what happened after that hunt. Mis-matched eyes lifted to meet Bran's. "My allegiance lies with the Mother of Dragons, Bran Stark. My ties with House Lannister died the day I left King's Landing."
And killed his father, but he had no idea what Sansa had told Bran. Here he paused, and here he stated simply, "I would see House Stark avenged - for Sansa's sake, and selfishly, for my own. To raise my House's enemy up? To bring the Wolf to tear out the Lion's throat? Would give me no greater pleasure."
no subject
He waited until he was certain Tyrion was finished then he smiled. "Then you'll be happy to hear that the Mother of Dragons is here also. She has one of them with her and it's amazing." He stood up and continued walking, slowly so Tyrion could keep up. "I'm glad to hear you're not against us. I didn't want to have Summer rip your throat out."
no subject
Then Bran mentioned the dragon, and he stared at the boy's back again for a moment, before he moved faster than most would think possible, "A dragon? Here? She has it here with her?"
He is so caught up with his childhood dream that he paused for a moment - then snorted softly. "Yes, I'd rather not have Summer ripping out my throat either. How would I be able to drink without it?"
no subject
It was a joke, based on house sigils. From what he'd heard of the Imp, he would find it amusing. And Bran decided it would be better to ignore the final question. It was quite obvious what the threat had meant.
no subject
Oh, the threat was made and understood. Tyrion was well pleased to become an ally and not a meal.
no subject
All the Starks seemed to know of his fall and it had been anything from months to years ago in their memory. Excluding those not alive at the time, of course.
no subject
After a moment, he thinks on it, "Older in years, and experience, I would wager. Winter's start is never kind."
no subject
"So what's the last thing you remember?" It had been asked of him, he found not reason to ask it back.
no subject
"The last thing I remember was signing an agreement with the Second Sons, in Meereen." He shrugged, "It was hot, I was uncomfortable, and there was the feeling of destiny on the air."
no subject
But then Tyrion completely derailed Bran's thoughts. "Meereen..." He breathed. "It sounds so exotic and wonderful. I wonder if I'll ever go there."
no subject
He smiled a little at the look of wonder on Bran's face. He knew he had the same look as a child. "If you do, I shall show you around the great pyramid."
no subject
"I would love that." He smiled. "You're not bad company, for a Lannister."
no subject
He let out a laugh at that, before he retorted, "And you are not bad company for a Stark. In fact, I think I shall proclaim you my third favorite one."

He continued walking, slowly so Tyrion could keep up easily, and pondered everything that had happened. But he said nothing else. His companion would no doubt get sick of his questions.
