Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon. Or, attend one of the many block parties!

3. Lost!: Somehow you got yourself turned around and confused and getting back to where you want to be is looking impossible.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Was there even a polite way to say 'I wasn't sure if you were a monster or not, and I thought I should check.Just in case you were and tried to kill me when my back was turned.' Right. yeah. Not saying that.

"And here I thought there were beds especially made for napping. Hear they're quite comfy. Sleeping here? Someone might step on you."

Will gave a shrug. "Wasn't sure. Thought I should check. Before you got stepped on."

His response to that was yawn, deliberately showing his sharp white teeth. Even if they were technically baby monster teeth, they were still sharp monster teeth.

Then flexing a paw, turned upside. "They'd be idiots to step on a lion." I mean really. Who would step on a lion and not expect to get their faces chewed off?

"You're a lion?" Again, Solace thought asking was a good idea. "And you definitely don't want to eat me or feed me to your boss or something?" Were there monster camps for teenage monsters? Maybe he hadn't completed the 'How to Eat a Demigod' class yet? Cause those teeth? Looked like they would hurt.

One thing Will totally got was the sunbathing. His skin had a healthy tan to it, and he was a son of Apollo. If he wasn't still unsure if this guy was going to eat him, he might be tempted to lie down in the sunshine and join him.

"Honestly your making me think you want to get eaten. Go look for a cannibal or something with a bigger appetite." Suicidal teenagers, no wonder they gathered them all here. Misery loves company?

"I used to be human, an I won't fight you less you give a real good reason to." And he was starting to get on his nerves, that was a reason.

Will let out a laugh. He like this kid, lion or not. Hell, the lion thing made him like him more. Non-mortals had to stick together, right?

"Oh, okay." He plopped down besides the other kid. "So who did you piss off? I'm going to guess it was either Artemis or Aphrodite." He put up a hand. " I totally understand if you don't want to talk about it. " And put one of those hands out to shake the kids paw. "Will Solace."

Sure, okay crazy pants. You can sit, but he's gonna pull his legs in closer to his body. He looks just a bit uncomfortable, even more so with the mention of Artemis, which would be simultaneously his greatgreat grandmother hundreds of times removed, and his lover? Being fused with Orion, the confusion was real.

"Pretty sure Artemis has been upset with me more than a few times." He actually seems flustered at that.

"Was a warlock what did it, though. Turned me into this." He just nods to Will, opting out of the handshake as it require him to morph his paws to hands. Too lazy.

"Name's Shadow."

Will wouldn't have been surprised, the gods got around. But he also thought Artemis was one of the virgin goddesses. At least the Artemis he was familiar with was. No kids. She collected them instead. And none of the demigods at Camp Half Blood would ever consider dating anyone in the same cabin as them. That was a little too incestuous. Any other cabin/godly parent was fine though.

"Yeah, well gods are like that sometimes. I think as long as you're not a smoldering piece of ash, you're good." He shrugged.

That may be true in lore, and maybe it was true as a god, but Shad was pretty certain that in his world, both Orion and Artemis, as well as people like Hercules were all Incarnates. Those who possessed the essence of certain gods, so far as he understood it. They were mere mortals once as well.

"Or turned into an eldrich abomination? Or a zombie? Or a werewolf. There's a god for that I'm sure."

Will smiled his usual soft, gentle smile, enjoying the feeling of the grass on his skin. " Gods have terrific imaginations. Probably because their brains are so much larger than ours." He had heard all about it during one of Apollo's tiffs while he was adjusting to his mortal body. Something about mortals having brains the size of tea cups. Gee. Thanks Dad.

"So, how are you getting used to everything here? School, huh?"Solace looked like someone walking on board the Titanic, while knowing exactly what was going to happen. School was going to be a doomed death march. Especially since he was a year rounder at Camp. It wouldn't end well. It never did.
