Laura didn't know what felt right. Her current emotions were an odd twist between rage, sadness and loss. She'd lost her friends, her father and was now someplace new. She was only beginning to learn her way when her world shifted; her only clear goal had been survival.

She didn't say anything more. She nodded her head and turned on her heel, stepping back towards the town behind her. She didn't know much about it, there weren't that many cars but she'd learn more and after that, Laura would figure out what to do next.
