Jordan heard the trill from the animal and looked up to see what had made that sound, eyes widening in shock when he saw another dragon-like creature. Chara had said that Ladon and the other three eggs that had yet to hatch were the last of the drakes, so seeing one that wasn't Ladon stunned him. Then he noticed how the vases it had bumped into fell over but stopped mid-fall and went back to where they were seemingly in midair. That made his eyes widen even more, because in his world, open displays of abilities like that got you anywhere from made fun of to locked away. You just didn't go around broadcasting what you could do if you had any sort of psychic ability, if you didn't want to worry about getting caught.
