Kelsey made no move to take his hand back, it had been a long time since anyone had allowed him this simple thing. The women in his life had always held his hands, his twin, his little sister, and his mother. The men never did, and after his mother passed even his little sister shyed away.

When she asked the question he shook his head slowly. "Maria is in school, and I do not know where we are... I have been on this boat since I awoke. I just heard the noise and came to see what was happening."
