After the jokes about a 'really gay spider', there had been others about Spidey senses. If such a thing existed, it probably involved parabatai. Where one went, the other followed and when one was in trouble, the other knew it. Shrugging into his jacket, he was debating whether it was too late to call Sebastian when he felt like something was going to happen.

Cursing fluently in a few languages that Magnus had taught him, he headed in the direction that his instincts told him was correct. Ignoring the looks of annoyances he won from the customers, he stopped when he saw Jace... and Gabriel.

"Dammit, Jace. Quit being an idiot," Alec snapped, settling his gear over his shoulders while glaring at his... not quite parabatai. Not that it mattered at the moment since Jace seemed ready to a fight an Archangel. "You're about to get smote by an Archangel. A real one. For once listen to your parabatai before we both end up getting fried!" Alec wasn't sure if it would really hurt him too if Gabriel decided to teach Jace a lesson but it should cause him to hesitate long enough that Alec could hopefully talk him down from whatever was making him that reckless.
