Scorch frowns. He hadn't yet heard the order be issued, so what Etain was saying still didn't quite make sense. "So...did the chancellor do something wrong, or the Jedi?" Frankly he figures it could be either. True the Jedi hadn't been ranking very highly on his list of late, but he knows them better than the chancellor, and at least they fought alongside their troops.

That sounded like a bad idea already, even with what little he'd heard from Etain right then. And even though the decision hadn't come up then, Scorch wonders what choice he would have made.
