Ahsoka Tano | Star Wars: The Clone Wars

New Arrival | Network:
[The feed starts off with Ahsoka's face right up close, before she pulls it back a little. She is standing there, eyes slightly narrowed, before realizing that it is working properly.

Any one who hasn't met her, or who is unfamiliar with different species, might think her appearance a bit strange, especially if they have never encountered a species other than their own. Reddish skin, white facial markings and montrals and head tails mark her rather uniquely.]

Hello? Is this connected to some sort of Holonet?

[She gives a shrug of her shoulders though. It seems to be connecting to something, and she'll use that for now.]

I can't say I exactly had a destination in mind when I was leaving Coruscant, but this? Not quite expected. Especially since the whole how I got here details are a bit fuzzy...

[Then again, everything has been turned upside down since the bombing... And it seems to be continuing. She's felt it already, or perhaps hasn't felt it, which is both strange and weird and uncomfortable. Not that she's exactly going to let that on.]

I'm Ahsoka, and I guess I would like some answers filled in, if someone has some answers to give. And if it's a choice between bad news or really bad news, how about we start it off slow.

New Arrival | Exploring:
She had once known exactly where she had belonged. Ever since Master Koon had brought Ahsoka to the Temple, that had been home. At three years old, memories of before were few and far between. It was a thought or a recollection to a sound or scent. Fleeting things. Yet the Temple had fulfilled everything that she had ever required or wanted. She had been a part of something bigger, and had known her place.

Until she hadn’t.

She had drifted after, refusing to return to the Jedi after they had offered to let her back in. The trust that had once been there was shattered. How could they truly believe that she would have? Did she have regrets? Yes. Yet she wasn’t going to change her mind. Not then, and still not now. She realized that she had misjudged Anakin, thinking that he wasn’t on her side, but in the end, he and Senator Amidala had kept her from her unjust fate, at least regarding the crime she had been accused off.

There had been no clear course of action afterwards. Everything that she had been was defined within the confines of being a Jedi. Her days had been structured and planned, from missions to meals, and while things might not always go as planned, there was a clear directive as to what they were trying to accomplish. From a world of set structures and war, to… To whatever it was that she had wanted. The question was, what was that? For so long she had believed in the Jedi way, and while she might not forgive Barriss for what she had done, Ahsoka could start to understand it.

It likely was how Ahsoka had come to accept her current situation as easily as she had, at least for the most part. She would never be one to just roll over and accept things the way that they were, especially if they weren’t the way that she wanted them to be. She hadn't found a purpose or a reason yet, and when that sensation had flooded through her of something being off, it wasn't exactly unknown. Something had been off for some time. Of course the situation that she did find herself in was unexpected and did move to shock her a bit.

There was still skepticism there, that inborn wariness, and even if she had left the Jedi Order, she knew that she needed to stop thinking in terms of a Jedi. That path was closed to her now, even if she had changed her mind (and she hadn’t). Even if none of this was of her own choosing, Ahsoka had come to the understanding that she wasn’t going to just sit around.

No, her fate was in her own hands now, and she was going to make the best of her situation. She might not know where her path would lead her, but she knew that if she did nothing, it wouldn’t lead her anywhere. Stretching, she rose to her feet, and taking a deep breath, she looked out at the new world before her. There had been many new worlds since she had joined the Jedi, so that wasn’t too bad. Some had been nice while others had been less than pleasant. This place? Not exactly paradise, but it wasn't hell either.

Yet she was someone for action, and yes, adventure. Moving out in to the open, she spoke to herself, in a clear voice. "Come on, Tano. Let's get at it."

It was how she found herself exploring the main island. Her lightsabers, which had been found in her house, hung at her side, although otherwise, one would be hard pressed to realize that she had been a Jedi. Curious, as there were a lot of new things, Ahsoka kept pausing, looking at them. She was one of a kind, as far as she could tell, as she had yet to meet another Togruta here. In fact, most that she had met looked humanoid.

"This place almost gives Coruscant a run for it's money." Muttered as she looked in to a store window. Of course she could be met anywhere on the main island.
