Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon, via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see!

3. Event: Teams are being put together to venture out deep into the islands of Eurus and Mulciber to track and destroy a vicious beast who has been the reason for the disappearances of several island locals. Please help stop the creature before anyone else goes missing!

1. New Arrival

Darkness. The only thing he is aware of right now is the darkness. And the quiet. He was in the woods behind his house, and now he's not. Everything he cared about is in that woods, and now he's lost them twice in a matter of minutes. All because he saved a man's life instead of letting him be crushed to death.

He needs light, and fresh air, and to know that there's someone in this place other than him. He stumbles through the hold until he finds a ladder, a door up to the light. He blinks a few times in the sudden brightness, and finds himself leaning against the railing, trying to get his bearings.

That's when he realizes that he's still clutching the bloody locket in his hand. He shoves it into his pocket before looking around the deck, trying to look like he knows what he's doing here.

When he reaches the shore, he shoves the phone and map into his pocket without looking at either and sets off, not even aware of his dirty, blood-stained T-shirt, or the impression he might be making on any of his new neighbors.

[ He looks vaguely familiar in that way of discomfitting similarity to a man she already knows, but then...who's to say that there aren't people here with similar faces from areas unfamiliar to her? Noriko debates for a minute before she answers, marking her reply as live video. ]

You're in a place called Medietas. It's an archipelago, but half the people here are local, and the other half are brought in from different worlds. Are you okay?

Charlie Crews | Life

1. New Arrival

When Charlie opened his eyes to find he was on a boat, he thought he was having a hell of a trip. Sure he like to experience life - now that he had it again - but drugs wasn't really his style. Constance had warned him against living off others. But, this was weird. He had to be tripping on something. Maybe one of the girls gave him something.

He looked at his arms and didn't see any injection sites, but maybe they fed it to him?

His thoughts were rudely interrupted by a friendly looking couple. So, now he had a map, a phone, and really none of his questions answered. He was in a t-shirt and sweatpants. He didn't even have shoes. That was going to be problematic.

Well, everything is impermanent, so that was fine.

"Excuse me, do you know where I could get some shoes?"

Shoes were his biggest worry. He could work on something other than pyjamas later.



4. Wild Card

[The video feed comes on. A man looking not so much worried as confused can be seen.]

Hello there. Is that how we're supposed to do this? I... Well, I was out of commission for awhile. Technology is a little confusing for me. As are manners while using technology.

Anyway, I'm Charlie and I get the distinct impression that I've been kidnapped, but no one can seem to give me any details. Still, seems like a pretty nice place.

But none of that is why I'm doing this. Is anyone out there familiar with Zen practices? If so, I would like to talk to you.

[And now he's just going to stare at the camera until someone replies, because he really doesn't know how these things work.]

This is exactly the reason she tries to come here every day during her patrol. New arrivals are confused, and also apparently sometimes lacking in shoes.

She hooks her thumbs over the waistband of her jeans, a slight way of drawing attention to the badge clipped there. Sometimes seeing someone with a little authority can have a calming effect.

She replies to his question with the hint of a smile. "The best place to look for shoes would at one of the stores in the marketplace. It's just over that way. Or there are probably some in your house."

Arrival

Charles starts awake, his chair lurching forward, rolling against the wood of the boat. He stopped himself, and shook is head slowly. His entire body hurt, he could feel nothing but pain radiating through his body.

The last thing he remembers is trying to fight Apocalypse, trying to stave off the coming end of the world. He doesn't remember anything after sending that distress call to Jean. He hoped they were successful, more than anything, both for mutant kind's sake, and Erik's.

The voices were a jumble in his head and he covered his face with his hands, hoping to quell the noise. He was so exhausted.

The boat comes to a stop, and he rolls slowly off the boat, feeling like he could sleep for a year.

A few days later, feeling more like himself, he wheels outside for the first time. He doesn't know where he is, or where he is going to. He managed to quiet the voices to a dull roar, but it took a lot out of him to maintain that. It would get better once he was back to 100 percent.

Elizabeth was still wet from standing in the river when she woke. The sun had warmed her skirt so the smell of wet wool followed her as she goes toward the railing, looking out over the clouds around them.

She rubs her face, shaking her head. "This is strange." It was an understatment, she feared.

When the ship docked she disembarked, blinking a bit at the strange people around her. She moved closer to a man riding a rolling chair. She decides it must be a version of a wheelchair, so she moves closer, ready to offer her assistance.

"Excuse me, are you okay?"

2. Getting settled

A few days have passed since Logan found himself on that floating boat on route for the floating islands. A few days have passed since he had boiled with rage at being ripped from a world he barely knew now, but one that seemed so much better than the one he remembered before being sent back in time. At least, in that new future of his, all the ones he loves and cares for are alive, and seemingly happy. He had been able to live in that future for barely 24hrs, before being kidnapped to this strange place.

Even if the smells are somewhat akin to what home used to smell, even if the sounds are close to what he's used to, there is still something...odd something inexplicable to this place. It's unsettling, and Logan doesn't like to be unsettled, even if it's the story of his life, recently.

He's found the house assigned to him on the desert island and stayed there for the first few days, but he's growing restless, being cooped up in there. That's why tonight he's ventured to the main island, in search of a tavern where he could get some cheap booze in a more or less anonymous setting. The bar he's found is not exactly that, it's cleaner than most place he's drank at before, but there is booze, and a pool table.

That's where he can be found, playing alone for the moment, an unlit cigar between his lips. The waitress stops by with a beer bottle as Logan finishes the one he has in hand, leaving the empty one on a small round tables, with quite a few dozen empty ones there already. That amount of beer should have impaired his playing, his walking, his speech, his whole demeanor, really. But the man leans over the table and shoots the 6th ball straight into the left side hole, as if he's been drinking water all night long...

1. New Arrival

When Jarod first woke up on the ship, he was more confused than anything. He'd gone to bed in his latest room, tired and sore and happy after another shift in his new job as an exterminator...and when he woke up, he was on a flying boat.

He'd never seen a flying boat before. Without wings, flight wasn't aerodynamically possible...but he was on a flying boat.

By the time he stood on the docks, his new device and new address in hand, something was rising in his chest that he hadn't felt since that first day spent running as far and as fast and as quietly as he could. It was bright and sharp and threatened to explode inside of him. He wanted it to explode inside of him, just like it did that day.

For the first time in a long while, Jarod felt free again.

He didn't care where he was. It didn't matter, there was only one thing he needed to know, and he asked it of the first person that passed by the tall, well built man in pajama pants and a plain white v-neck undershirt.

"Excuse me?...excuse me, hello. I don't mean to bother you, but I was wondering: could you tell me if there's a place here called The Centre? It's very important."

4. Wild Card

[When the network comes to life, Jarod is visible in his starter home, a neat line of Pez dispensers arranged in front of him. One, he toys with in his hand, occasionally helping himself to a piece of candy.]

Hello, everyone! My name is Jarod, and I'm new here. It's only been a few days, but I think this place is just marvelous! There's a lot to do, and so much to learn...it's making it really hard to decide what kind of job I should get.

[He pauses, thoughtfully flicking his Pez dispenser open and sliding a piece out with his teeth.]

Being so far away from home, this is the first time I can get a job and work for real--earn my own money like a regular person. [He smiles, as if the very notion is so alien and dazzling he can hardly contain his excitement.]

So, I guess what I need to know is...who needs help in this place. If you have a job opening, or know someone who does? Please let me know. Thanks!

[There is, of course, a noticeable lack of Jarod listing any qualifications he has...simply because there are none to list.

Whatever he chooses to do, he'll get the qualifications for. All he needs is a little prep time.

He reaches out to disconnect the feed, then stops, suddenly remembering something.]

Oh, one more thing! It's a very important question, and it's one I never could answer back home. Popped back into my head this morning when I went to the candy store for more Pez..if anyone here has read a series of books about a curious primate named George, I'd dearly appreciate it if I could pick your brain about some things I could stand to clear up.

Hermione stepped off the boat along with a few others. Being immediately greeted and offered information was a bit of a surprise but she took the map and communication device politely. Now armed with information, Hermione scanned the map to see where she should start first. Naturally she centered no bookstores and libraries. As far as she was concerned, books were an important source of information. Whether or not it would turn out to be good information was another story.

So she chose the closest bookstore to start off with.

Oh, this is much nicer than talking to a book. I don't suppose anyone here is from a place where you communicated that way, are you?

[ He never did have much patience. It's the Klaus Mikaelson fatal flaw. His patience ran thin even on his best of days. Today isn't one of those days. Because everything back home is a mess. His child is safe for once, but his family is falling into shambles. Finn has been bitten by whatever monstrosity Lucien has turned himself into. They say a wolf bite judging by the pain, but Klaus isn't there to judge for himself. To ease his pain. His brother can detox on his own. The bastard has earned that much pain for what he did to them. For what he did to him. Freya is alive, but weak and bloody Lucien has a pact with the Ancestors now. He never did like witches.

What Klaus is really angry about though is that he's yet to see his daughter. His child. The one thing in this world that makes him weak and the one thing he would sacrifice just about anyone and anything for. That's probably why he stalks through the streets now. His body rigid and his eyes full of rage and anger. He hasn't picked any unwanted fights, but only because he's yet to find anyone stupid enough to start one. But the minute Klaus does find a bar he peels off into the establishment with a snarl on his lips.

He closes the doors behind him and surveys the patrons. Who to torture and brutalize for information first? Endless choices. When Klaus does leave the bar no one is dead, but they wished they were. No answers were given. Just pathetic whining and stupidity at it's finest. It's about at this time when he's leaving the bar that he decides to use the phone they gave him. Maybe this will get him better results.

When the video does spring to life it captures Klaus Mikaelson in all his glory. Mouth red with blood and his eyes still full of venom. ] Where is my daughter? Tell me now and perhaps I'll stop dissembling your locals.

[Airy fumbles with her phone when she sees the sudden video of the stranger with the red eyes. Her finger slips and the video of her panicked expression is shown back to Klaus. Airy realizes this a little to late and begins to ramble in reply to his question.]

Ah, hi. I don't know. I'm so sorry but please don't hurt people. I don't think people were dragged here on purpose or to be hurt. I don't have my family here either. Not that it makes it any better or easily but I don't think hurting people will help. People will just be scared of you and it makes it harder to help.

[Jet's head was pounding, his mouth felt dry, and he was a bit disoriented. That idiot Spike had gone off to do something crazy, probably wasn't ever coming back. And so despite having a ship full of the things that he hated not that long ago, now he was just an old man left on his own to do a thankless job. If that hadn't called for that bottle he'd kept hidden away from the others, he wasn't really sure what would.

He wasn't too surprised to wake up on a dock, though when he looked up and saw the skies, the other ships, and the buildings he was left scratching his head a little.]

Just what planet am I on? It's sure as hell not Mars, or Earth.

[Looking around a little more, it's what's missing that is a little more worrying.]

And where the hell's my ship? I couldn't have gotten that far, and it's not anyone would want to take that heap of junk.

Option 2: Getting Settled
It seemed like he was going to be stuck here for awhile, and though he didn't really care for the idea Jet figured he might as well make the most of it. After all it wasn't that bad of a house and he'd at least gotten a few things from the ship. In the meantime he'd need to find some work and save up until he'd be able to find a way back to it, where ever it was. Besides it wasn't like he was sure what he was going to do before since he was on his own again. So this was a fresh start, a way for him to find something else to do to pass his time.

There had to be something that he could do. He doubted there'd be much use for a cowboy around a place like this, it seemed to quiet. And he didn't know enough about the place to even want to think about become mixed up in the corruption and politics of law enforcement again. Maybe he could find a nice fishing place, or work at a bar or something. Looking at some of the places he also wondered if he'd be able to find bonsai here, or if they'd even know what it was.

That was when a certain shock of red hair and a familiar scooter came whizzing by. Ed had been making daily stops at the docks in case by sheer chance anyone from her time on the Bebop was pulled here. But she could tell it was Jet so cue spinning wheels as she called to him and she used a line her younger self used quite often.

"Jet Jet! Its Edward!"

But this was not the same girl who had left on a mission: the shorts and tank had become skinny black jeans and sleeved tops. But the smiley face pin on her bag would hopefully act as another sign it was really her along with the backpack of gear. "A certain four legged partner in mayhem is at home, was on my way to work!"

Getting Settled

There was a lot to do to make her house liveable again. First she needed food, so she set to preparation. Once she'd eaten she went to air out her bedroom and change into clean clothes. As she dressed Erika kicked and somersaulted inside her, making Lorna smile despite the discomfort. "Soon enough, little girl. We'll meet when you're ready."

With dressing accomplished, she decided to go out for a walk. It would be a good idea to get the lay of the land and some exercise again. Maybe she could get her old job back, or meet some old friends.

At some point she would have to stop by Adam and Merlin's houses, just to make sure they were still present.

Lorna would be in for a pleasant surprise, not just in the sense that Adam was still there, but in the sense he seemed happy. Perhaps a little more inwardly focused of late, since she and Ronan had disappeared not long ago, in one fell swoop, but happy all the same.

Besides, even if the islands had stolen them away at the same time, they had also given them both back within short order. Adam was still floored to realise just how much he missed both of them, and how attached he was. Ronan, especially.

He was outside his place, lying beneath the Hondayota. It wasn't like it needed a tune-up or anything, and driving it around was mostly out of the question, but he just liked the act of tinkering with it. It had been making a rattling noise the other day anyway.

[ It's not the first time Rei's blacked out and woken up somewhere she doesn't recognize; her first instinct is to assume another enemy, even as much as she can't believe it would happen again so soon after the Witches 5 and their hostile almost take over of their planet. The fight had been hard, couldn't they get some rest? But the amount of people on the boat, and the absolute lack of a hostile aura soothed her fears, but not by much.

If this wasn't the work of an enemy, then who or what had brought her here? And why?

She doesn't have time to ask the people at the dock. They're too busy shoving a map and what looks like a phone into her hands before letting her off on her own, and Rei stands there, a tad dumbfounded. ] But... where am I?

[ The home she'd been granted had been nice, if not something she was used to. Rei prefers the traditional, and this isn't it, but it's a roof and a bed and a place to sleep while she makes her new life here (as much as she knows she can't; she has a duty, she has to follow that duty, and Usagi and everyone need her as much as she needs them, really). She doesn't have everything from home, but she has enough.

She's dressed in the miko robes she'd found folded on her bed, making her way through the market place. For all the unfamiliarity of it, Rei finds herself intrigued, and even a little charmed by it. She stops at a stall now and then, browsing the items, but not buying anything. She only has so much of this place's currency; she doesn't want to waste it, not until she finds a place to work. There aren't any shrines around here, at least not the kind she's used to, and she wonders, briefly, as she picks up a stack of cards that vaguely resemble the tarot cards she'd used at home, if she might be able to set up a stall here and tell fortunes, or something of the like.

Maybe. It'd be something, at least, something familiar. She could use that, right now. ]

[Minako's in the same boat, pun intended. Situation all the same, coming to to realize they're not home, not anywhere they can recognize, with people she doesn't know telling her to pretty much enjoy her stay. There's a brief moment where she think she forgot about winning some super swanky contest, but then there's Rei and something settles within her.

This is no contest. Something is wrong and someone has done this and why have they been pulled here, of all places. Where was here anyway?

She breaks away from the group she had been brought in with, spotting a familiar head of raven hair up ahead.] Rei!

Clary Fray | Shadowhunters

Clary isn't sure what exactly happened. One minute she was fine and trying to come up with a plan. One that would return the Cup and Jace both back to them. Not that she was coming up with anything right away. It was a never ending process it seemed and she couldn't leave her brother out there. Not with him. However, she'd woken up disoriented and on some kind of floating boat. None of this felt right and she needed to find the others. Simon, Alec... Isabelle and her mother.

When she's given the communication device and the map, she frowns. What would she do with something like that? Instead of listening and going to the starter house that she's told about she heads out to explore. To find her friends. Her family.

Wildcard

[Eventually she settles into the starter house and finds things that shouldn't be there. Things from home. So she leans back in her seat and tries to settle her nerves. However, she eventually looks up and frowns.]

I'm not sure if I can do this. How do I know that this isn't his doing? That he didn't have a hand in bringing me here just to get me out of the way. Whatever ploy this is, I will find a way to stop it.

Whenever he could, Alec tried to check the new arrivials, hoping to see Max among the newbies that were brought to the islands. Gabriel had said it was possible and Alec hated the idea of his baby brother might show up alone, especially if he came from a time near when Sebastian/Jonathan was in Idris. Keeping an eye on the crowd, Alec spotted the bright red hair first.

Oh... this could be good or bad. Not that Alec didn't like Clary. They were kind of friends. He thought of her as a sister now because his Jace had almost proposed to her, but considering there were at least three realities with Shadowhunters, he had no idea which version of Clary this might be.

Hoping that he wouldn't have to spend the evening trying to referee the kind of fight Jace had described in his reality, Alec headed toward the redhead. "Welcome to the islands. I know this is going to sound crazy, but I might not be the Alec you know back home." He might as well get the shock over with as quickly as possible.

New Arrival

...okay. Senjougahara is polite but curt with the local greeters as she's handed some things. They're gone before she can followup with questions, greeting more people coming off the boat. She feels a twinge of irritation, but she's not ready to cause a scene.

Yet.

She steps a little ways off the pier away from the biggest amount of traffic before turning her attention to her new phone and map. She's more interested in getting some kind of answer from a person, however.

She approaches the nearest person she finds away from the pier. The people at the dock had greeted her in English, which she knows a little of but nothing more than a couple of classes. She's hardly fluent.

"What is place?" she asks, in a thick Japanese accent. That sounds wrong, and she dislikes being so bad at something.

Okay, that whole waking up in a strange place thing? That wasn't cool. Not cool at all. HR totally intended to do something about, find someone to yell at and demand he be taken back home. But then he saw where they were. Impossibly high above the clouds, with that city laid out before them. It was unlike anything he'd ever seen before. He knew, instantly, why he was here. This was it. This was his chance. This is what he'd write about.

He bolted off the ship, uttering hasty pardons as he pushed passed slower people. Once on solid ground, well as solid as ground could be in the sky, he took everything in. Moving in a slow circle, gaze fixed upward, he uttered a soft "...wow..." He looked every part the young country girl setting foot in the center of Manhattan for the first time.

"OH!" he blurted out, seeing someone he deemed to be moderately friend. "Excuse me! Excuse me! Could you, maybe, help me with--I mean, this might sound a little strange--really strange I suppose--it's hard to explain--I'm not--" Then he stopped for a moment, looked a the person directly. "Can you tell me where I am? Not the harbor, I can see that. The general--" he waved his arms a bit. "--where."

[ There's a bit of fussing while he seems to be squinting at the device, muttering to himself. When his eyes focus on the screen he looks rather surprised and pleased with himself. ]

Oh! Hello and salutations to everyone in...where ever this is! I am Harrison Wells, but please, call me HR. Everyone does. I hope that we can all be great friends and...do whatever it is we're here to do!

Now. I do have one question. Do they have Big Belly Burger here? OH! Better yet, do they have coffee?!

[ He verbally fumbled for a moment, before straightening up and looking vaguely serious. ]

Until our next communion!

[ He gave an awkward, one-handed sort of bow with his arm crossing over his chest and swinging back. It did not work well holding the phone in his other hand. But then he brought the device closer, squinting at it. ]

Wait, how do I--what's the--this isn't like from my--

[ Then the feed cut out as he found the right button. ]

[Cisco watches the spectacle on the screen with a squint. Was that-- nah. Facetwin shenanigans, right? Because no version of Harrison Wells was going to be that awkward and...apparently technology inept? He just cut the feed mid-shot. What the actual hell was this?

When he replies, Cisco still has a very confused look on his face. And if he sounds like he just Can Not Compute, it's because he can't.]

Yeah, there's coffee. Place called Mugs, it's on Imber.

[Ooookay. Joe is used to the whole other-earth versions of things by now but the grand gesturing, the flailing and not knowing tech version of Harrison Wells? That's gonna take a moment for Joe to process.] No Big Belly Burger, but there are a couple of decent places to get coffee.

Trini was very confused when she found herself stepping off the boat. She had been attempting to transport to the command center. When she got off the boat and was handed a map and a communications device she was even more confused. She stepped away from everyone else and stood under the overhang of a building. She put the new device and map into a pocket and lifted her watch like communicator to her mouth, touching the side, she tried to transport again. And couldn't. Switching which button she was hitting, she tried the communicator function instead.

"Trini here, I seem to be trapped.. somewhere." She frowned, getting no response. "Alpha? Can you read me?" Something wrong with the command center? "Billy? Kimberly?" No answer. She let go of the button then tried it again. "Jason? Zack?"

This wasn't good, this had to be Rita. She stepped away from the building to give herself room to move, standing ready, watching for putties....

Billy was going about his day, idly stocking books in his room when he heard a familiar buzz. The voice that came over the communicator was welcome, but definitely a shock. So much of a shock, in fact, that it took him a few extra seconds to respond.

Let's all pretend I've done the 'how dare you kidnap me, send me home this instant' rant with responses that are some form of 'we can't go home', shall we? It'll save us all time. Given I was in a bit of a sticky situation back home, I can't complain too much, really.

My name is Lash, not that I expect any of you to recognize my name. I suppose I would like to know what places are of interest. Particularly good places to eat, for example.

::She considers her next words for a moment.::

Along with a good place to buy clothes. Thirty of the exact same dress is a little much.

4. Wild Card

She's had a week to adjust to having a body of her own, so it's time to see what exactly she can do with it. Resulting in a trip to the Mean Princess to find a sparring partner. Lash rather hopes there's someone of more than human endurance available. She has the feeling it's going to be needed.

Although before she even sets about choosing someone to approach, she's going to practice on her own, choosing a suitable blade to go through her forms with. Before too long, she's imagining an opponent, whirling through moves against them in what is almost a dance.

Harry was just minding his own business. he was flying along, moping bout Devi being gone, trying to get his head clear, and completely unsure of what to do now. His comms device, in it's holder on his skybike, had pinged to let him know of a new network post.

He glanced at the screen for a moment, and saw that face.

And nearly swerved into a house, hands dropping from his handlebars for a moment in shock.] Stars and Stones!

[Harry managed to wrestled the bike upward and only take off the top chunk of a tip of a house, and then come to a stop inches away from the top of one of the statues.]

Well then.

[He opened the link, and his face, haggard, very tired looking, and shocked, stared out at her.]

[Motherfucker. Jane drags a hand down her face, her fingers lingering on her lips as she scans the crowd of faces for a familiar one. Jesus, she hates her birthday so, so much. The only thing familiar about this crowd is it seems mostly human. That's not exactly the greatest news. Because this sure as hell wasn't Earth. And if it was a colony, they had better be ready to explain why everyone on this boat, and it was absolutely a boat, not a ship, what the hell, looked like they'd been drugged and kidnapped.

It really figures. For five seconds it seemed like life made sense and then this happened.

The communicator they gave her was archaic, but functional, and with that in mind...]

A floating boat. A floating boat. He had thought he'd seen a lot just getting to Cornith and then being in the Ranger Program, but nope. Turns out there's weird things out there than primary colour spandex and zords with big, googly eyes. Six story foot fireballs, well that's a thing he's yet to see beat.

How did he get there? No clue. But welcome to the story of his life thus far. He does his best to avoid the crowds, and just nods at the locals, pockting the communications device. It sort of looks like something Doc K would come up with, but he's like 75% sure she's not here.

So, docked and now he's looking around. Honestly, he just has one question.

"Is there a bar or something?"

He really needs a drink.

Andros was trying to interact with the locals, refusing to believe they actually didn't know anything. No. They knew something. They were just playing dumb or under orders not to say anything. Sure, it was theoretically possible that they actually didn't know anything, but it was a low percentage. There'd be tales, myths, stories. Something to go off of. They knew something. And he was going to find out what it was.

However, he turned when he saw a new person looking around.

"There are a couple around the different islands. There's the Troll and the Fish which is the closest. Just keep going that way, you can't miss it. "

The man who stepped off the boats looked around him like he hadn't seen the world before. He was very classically dressed, in a sharp suit and red power tie. It was a bit simple for his tastes, but he had a bit more to worry about then his clothing. Like for example the face that he had hands and feet again.

He studies said hands as the work of the docks goes on around him. "This isn't the second chance I may have wanted, but it's the one I was given," he muses, "can't ask for more than that."

I don't know your character, but one impeccably dressed gentleman deserves another.

He wasn't looking for his son, of course. He was simply watching the boats coming in to gain inspiration for his next design. As far as anyone knew, Gabriel Agreste has understood that his son was either eaten by those monsters or went home. As far as anyone knew, he was at peace with that, was never that concerned to begin with.

Except he was sick to his stomach with terror that his son might be dead, and kept finding excuses to come to the docks, just in case his son had gone home and returned, like that Henry boy.

This time he took note of the sharply dressed man, who was one of the few he had seen so far close to his age. The tie was borderline hideous, but the lines of the suit had potential. He rough sketched a few notes in his personal shorthand, listening subtly to the man. A second chance. Gabriel might not be able to use that...

But... perhaps Papillon could....

Jon is feeling a mixture of nervousness and curiosity as he gets off the boat. This place looks really cool, and he's itching to go explore it, but he's also not sure how he got here, and he's a little worried about that. His mom is going to be freaking out, and his dad, well... Let's just say it probably isn't going to end well for whoever is responsible for snatching him and bringing him here.

He's been instructed to go to some place called White Willow Village, and someone pointed it out on the map he was given, but the ten-year-old doesn't head there just yet. He makes his way past people until he finds an area where he'll mostly be alone, cups his hands around his mouth, and starts calling out for his father.

"Daaad?! Can you hear me? I'm right here! Daaaaad?!"

To anyone passing by, it probably seems pointless, but when your dad has super hearing, it makes perfect sense to Jon to yell for him. Anyone from modern times will also see that while he's wearing jeans and a blue and red zip-up hoodie with some sort of S-symbol on it (Superman's, for people from worlds familiar with it), his outfit isn't entirely typical given that he also has a bright red cape with that same S-symbol on the back.

Clark, for the most part, hasn't hidden himself since he got to the islands. No one has seen him in the red and blue. No one has seen him with the cape. Just civilian attire. They see a man with extraordinary abilities. Nothing more than that. Only one person knows that he's an alien and he doesn't mind that she does. However, he's still the same old Clark Kent and frowns hearing someone call for their dad. If it's one thing he doesn't like it's lost children.

Flying in the direction of the voice he stops short from where he's floating in the air, staring down at that symbol. The House of El's symbol for Hope. Which meant that the kid was either a really huge fan or he was Kryptonian. However, his world was dead. Gone and destroyed a long time ago. No one else could've survived, right?

This-- K doesn't remember being teleported anywhere. She was, as far as she knew, establishing connectivity between the existing zords and a new, experimental piece of hardware. Yet suddenly she's here.

Where is here, and why are none of the others anywhere to be seen.

"The logical conclusion is that this is a dream," she says to herself. "Or a hallucination induced by sleep deprivation."

Come help the scowling child as she walks and stares at her communication device with disgust and mutters about how unsafe it is to use technology whose source and intent she can't identify.

Dillon is not exactly happy to see her, but then again, he's not exactly unhappy about it either. On one hand, this is someone he does actually know and who knows about the virus going through him. On the other... Well, she can't actually do anything about it, according to her.

"What about a sugar rush? Amount of stuff you eat."

Kendall had a feeling that it wasn't going to be easy to contact anyone on the outside, so she had stopped trying after the second attempt.

People here seemed to be pleasant enough, even though the lack of answers she could get was frustrating. The home seemed content with giving her things to live on, starting food and water and a wardrobe that was lacking a lot of purple. That was fine with her. Kendall had enough to worry about.

Some basic supplies would be nice however, to build a small portable laboratory for herself. And more Dino Chargers. That would be good too. Even if she could make maybe 3 or 4 would be preferable, in order to not have to worry about her Energem flying away at any possible moment.

The market seemed to be a good place to start for spare parts, but she wanted to head over to the bookstore to find out anything she might have missed.

Andros meanwhile was going a bit stir crazy. Working at the Fire Department was a bit like watching grass grow, and he was never really a fan of it to begin with. There hadn't been any emergencies besides a small ones that really didn't require ranger expertise. Cat stuck in a tree. Cursing furby. Annoying coworkers.

He'd be working on getting his AMScanner to work, and was close to completion. Then maybe he'd have an answer as to what kind of security system he tripped. Andros stopped at the woman who looked like she was looking for something.

He woke up, dragged his ass out of bed, and suddenly got hit with a rush of power he couldn't explain, a strength that has him bouncing off all four walls, and walking Bonnie because he needs it. She'd rather go back to bed.

So he nudges her into going potty, searching for a text from Cisco when the feed crackles to life...and a face comes on. A face and a voice, such a powerful slap of home that explains...everything.

With shaking hands, Rocky flicks on his own video feed, his eyes wide and full of hope and pain--pain, because he's only now letting himself realize how desperately he's missed his sister.]

That's her first, and only, thought when she finds herself on a fucking boat in the sky. Either she's dead, and this is, what, some kind of fucked up afterlife? Or she's somehow still alive, and she needs to get away from all these people. Soon.

Her neck still throbs, and she has no privacy to check it. Her sides ache, and her lip is swollen. She can still feel the cuts and bruises she sustained over the last couple of days. This is - wrong, somehow - isn't being dead supposed to take all the pain away?

As soon as the boat lands, she scrambles off, pushing her way past anyone well-meaning enough to try and give her the rundown of the place. She's got some kind of a - a cell phone, or something, and a map, but she doesn't pay much attention to them, focused almost entirely on getting as far away from people as she possibly can, before it's too late.

"Don't touch me!" she says, her voice a harsh, rasping growl, if anyone dares to impede her. Her hand goes for a weapon which isn't there. "Get out of my way."
