There is something wildly disconcerting in finding oneself busy with one's business, in a place one considers foreign, to put it mildly, and then suddenly hearing an incredibly familiar voice from across the way. It's the sort of feeling that almost sends Jamie physically reeling, and he blinks, squinting into the crowds around the docks.
