"You didn't write down the address?" At least he didn't sound snarky. Mostly he sounded incredulous. Why would anyone forget to save the address in some way?

The question wouldn't really help them so he shoved it aside to focus on finding a way to solve the being's housing problem. At least that was Alec's intention before the newcomer explained why it was safe to give his address out to him. Quirking an eyebrow, he wasn't quite sure if he should be amused or angry by what had been suggested.

It kind of reminded him of the things Magnus said to try to tease him. Another subject not to think about, but it did cause Alec to go with the more humorous response that came to mind. "My sister used to tease me that she could always tell if a guy was gay but I never believed it. Is there some secret way to know that no one told me about?"

Pausing a beat before he shrugged. "Your virtue's safe with me even if you supposedly lost it years ago."
