Oh, those extra sounds are superfluous. Possibly. Eurydice nods slowly, almost certain she's gathered Hyacinth's meaning, but at the look of revelation on her face, the nymph waits in hope for what must be something for further clarity.

Leaning in to watch Hyacinth's fingers move a stylus over something that is not papyrus, but like it, the young dryad is intent on the graceful flow of Devi's hand. While she has absolutely no frame of reference that there is anything actually written there, the lines are very pretty, like vines.

Eurydice realizes she's just been introduced, and that the lines were Hyacinth's name. Devi.

"Devi?" she tries again, with more confidence, a graceful hand pointing at the lines, then the girl herself, and then lifting to indicate her purple hair with a joyful smile. "Devi, with hair of hyacinth."

Smile still lighting her face, she indicates herself.

"Eurydice." She says it slowly and clearly, the Greek sounds forming ev-ree-THEE-kee.
