Test Drive

Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!
2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon. Or, attend one of the many block parties!
3. Lost!: Somehow you got yourself turned around and confused and getting back to where you want to be is looking impossible.
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!
Re: Sinthia Schmidt | 3
He shook aside such thoughts, and focused on his shopping list, looking for ingredients to make a new kind of stew for his housemates and hoping they all liked it.
When he cam around a corner, he stopped as someone ran into him, and then put out a hand as if to gently help them. "Miss are you okay?" For she looked a little... lost. "Should I get help?"
Re: Sinthia Schmidt | 3
"Do you think you need help?" she asks, voice stilted in the way that shows she hasn't had a lot of experience talking to people. Out loud. And that she doesn't really know what else to say.
Re: Sinthia Schmidt | 3
And he was, for her answer made even less sense. Unless she was from some place even odder than most?
"Are you alright?"
Re: Sinthia Schmidt | 3
And then, four steps away, a voice in his head: Don't be worried. I'm not hurt. Just walking.
Re: Sinthia Schmidt | 3
Was he hallucinating now? His head hurt.
Re: Sinthia Schmidt | 3
Her footsteps were light on the ground, and she watches carefully where her feet go: her feet are bare and barely hovering over the ground, a scant half an inch above the surface. You're not hallucinating.
Re: Sinthia Schmidt | 3
"I'm Podrick."
Re: Sinthia Schmidt | 3
When he mentioned his name, and she could feel and understand the pressure for her to give hers, Sinthia stopped and turned back, and let herself down to actually stand on the ground, smooth paved with large bricks, settling as if preparing to run. "I don't have a name," she whispered, though she didn't keep her voice soft out of any intent for deceit. It was just that she didn't talk much as it was, and loudly almost never.
Re: Sinthia Schmidt | 3
But it was her words that struck him.
"NO name? Do you want one? Do you... what do people call you?"
Re: Sinthia Schmidt | 3
"Asset," she murmured in response to his questions, honest as she could be but still seeming hollow. "Weapon." She's good at what she does, what she is, but what she does isn't nice. She's very good at killing people, though.
no subject
He felt odddly protective of this strange girl. Maybe because he knew what it was like to not have a purpose, not have a life, of your own. To be lost.
He nodded. "Are you hungry?"
no subject
"It's all right. And I don't think so."
no subject
"Okay. Well, then what would you like to do? Here, I mean. Were you looking for something or someone?"
no subject
She's not entirely sure she was looking for anything to begin with, but she doesn't feel like protesting.
no subject
"Did you get assigned a house when you got here? They are pretty comfortable."
no subject
no subject
"Of course. I'm hardly going to force you into one, miss. It's so you have a place to sleep, at night, no other reason."
Podrick was so confused and felt so very out of his depth, now.
"Ah... can i get you anything?" Maybe he should just let her be? He had no idea now what he was doing.
no subject
"I don't sleep at night. I don't....sleep much," she murmured. She'd never really been kept out of the cryosleep long enough to get tired. "I don't know what to do other than wander."
no subject
"Have you considered getting a job? Or making friends to spend time with?" He was curious.
"Still, a house here is, like, a private place you can go, if you want." he nodded, then.
"Uhm, there are a number of taverns, and parks. I am fond of the parks at night."
