Test Drive

Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!
2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon. Or, attend one of the many block parties!
3. Lost!: Somehow you got yourself turned around and confused and getting back to where you want to be is looking impossible.
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!
Charles Xavier | X-Men | Scenario 2
Being confused was an understatement. Then again, that seemed to be the story of his life as of late. Arriving at a bunch of floating islands on a floating ship seemed like another bad trip, but one that was slightly more fascinating and intriguing than being visited by a mutant who was from a future that was near to ending if they didn't do certain things in present day.
Okay, maybe that was a little more confusing than this.
His starter home was on Imber and a day after he arrived, Charles wheeled himself around to get familiarized.
Re: Charles Xavier | X-Men | Scenario 2
Zoe was just leaving home, it was her day off, and she was going to enjoy it. She still didn't have all of island issues worked out, but she figured it was slow going, on a good day.
She was lucky though, to have friends here who knew what she might be going through, between that and work she was settling in. She was headed down a path towards the Ferry when she spotted a man she hadn't seen before wheeling around.
"Excuse me? Are you lost?" She asked, as she fell into step with him.
no subject
"Sadly, I haven't moved much to get lost yet." he chuckled softly. "But perhaps you could help me. Do you know which way this map is supposed to work."
There didn't seem to be any sort of north, south, east or west distinction.
no subject
"I'd be happy to," She answered with a smile. "I'm Zoe by the way, but where were you looking to go?"
CRAU!
Honestly, once the initial realisation that he was by himself there had sunk in, the wizard mostly just realised that he was angry.
But even so, he decided to acquaint himself with the place too, meandering the various islands in a bit of a huff, probably dissuading most people from ever talking to him. Sometimes the shops struck his fancy, sometimes they didn't. And as he was stepping away from one, he made the mistake of doing so without glancing behind him, merely turning to walk away.
And unfortunately, he stepped straight into a wheelchair and nearly went straight over. Thankfully, he managed to catch himself, and his initial response was not, amazingly, irritation. It was, instead, exasperation, mostly directed at himself. "Terribly sorry."
no subject
After making sure the man was on his feet again solidly, he offered a smile.
"No apologies necessary. I'm a bit short and not always easy to see." he answered, making light of the almost accident with a bit of a chuckle.
no subject
"Admittedly," he murmured, still glancing away as he worked to fight off impending embarrassment, "You are a bit short."
Once he'd finally regained his composure, he dared to step back, giving the man (with the overly familiar voice) a wry smile in return. And immediately blinked, the smile faltering. "Oh," Draco said simply. He didn't need to ask if he was remembered or not; it was abundantly clear that was a no.
"Are you all right, at least?"
Mutanthood CRAU
She was still feeling unsettled when she stepped out a couple hours after searching around her new home, wondering what to do next. Then she spied a familiar form, perking up a bit as she called.
"Charles? Charles Xavier?"
no subject
He was hoping there'd be a familiar face in arriving; one that instantly brought relief and Kayla Silverfox was a woman he'd grown close to. Of course, he didn't exactly look the same as he did when he last saw her. Somehow, whatever powers that were in charge of what happened in Westchester with future people mysteriously showing up at his mansion were also at play with bringing them here. It felt like longer than ten years since he'd seen the woman.
Maneuvering his chair around with the controls, he headed her way.
"Kayla," Charles said before getting to her. "You are indeed a sight, love."
no subject
As she got close, she noted the difference between this Charles and the one she knew but he knew who she was which was all that mattered to her for the moment. She would ask him about the change once they were done with reuniting.
"So are you." She smiled brilliantly before leaning down to hug him.

"Professor?"
