The silence is difficult but he's at a loss of words until the other begins to explain. The year was two ahead of his own, that was clear by what she mentioned, and it was obvious that in two years a great deal could happen considering what had happened in a year to him. Exhaling, his brows still furrowed he walked next to her, shoulders brushing as they moved through the streets of the unknown world. At least she was here, at least she was alive.
"You'll have to do better then the mark that ate my arm away and you know that." The mage murmured, eyes looking away from what was in front of them as they moved and down to her, the tightness of his mouth giving way to a frown. "What made such a drastic change that in two years the mark would consume you? Consume you enough to remove your arm in the first place."
Magic had a way with things; would the magic of the mark eventually cause damage, obviously it did, but he could have only hoped there was something to be done about it in the realities of life. It had been stable the last he saw her, which was not so long ago, within his own world at least, his own time. It seemed like time magic had returned, to cause another dilemma and he wasn't sure how he felt about knowing something like this could come in his future, if he ever made it back.
