Khadgar looks a little shamefaced at having been caught pointlessly turning the stranger into a sheep. He knew it wouldn't hurt the person affected and fortunately it would shortly wear off, but usually there was more of a reason behind his actually doing it these days beyond just seeing if he could.

He hoped the lady didn't think he was ignoring her as he puzzled out her question, answering her once he'd thought he had it figured out. "It only really works on the simple minded, and it only lasts around a minute. They're disoriented during that time, so I don't believe that they really realize just what has happened and by the time the disorientation clears up, they're no longer a sheep."
