"As far as I can tell, this is a world where Powers that Be, unnamed, have reached out across time and the multiverse to pluck people to this world for an unknown purpose. They do not communicate with us, but provide us with homes and some small resources to start, then, seemingly expect us to try to live and survive here."

he wave a hand around them. "There are natives, and even a King and Queen, but they seem all unaware of why this has happened, or how. So far, most of us are settling in, even as we continue to try to look for ways out."

Merlin nodded to her. "As for why you, in particular were chosen, I do not know. There seems to be no common denominator between all of us."
