Elrond had been out and about trying to find something to occupy himself in this oh so human city. He keenly felt the absence of those he loved, and those he had known, both at home, and in the place that had been home, for one small source of time.
He walked those aisles, the market reminding him of the bustling of market day in days of yore.
And oh so human, were most of them. So young. He felt like an old man, and a tired one. once more separated from his wife, and from his people.
And then... he saw her.
Elrond was not a man to act quickly, most days. He had been known to stage thinks that lasted so long even Ents thought him overly slow. But in that moment? His eyes flared with a joy unkindled since he had been ripped from home, and on one hand, Vilya flared as well. Air bloomed around him and lifted him and then he was landing before her, going to one knee, the smile on his face as utterly unlike him as any might see. And yet... he knew this girl, this being.

"Star, most revered. A greeting."
